- We took an 11-day cruise out of Tampa on the Norwegian Dawn. This is a tour of our Club Balcony Suite #11502 (meaning 11th floor). This is not a full out suite with all the amenities - it's more like a mini suite (Princess) or Vista suite (Holland America) or Junior Suite on some lines. This room was located so far forward in the ship that the door to the bridge was two doors from us.

you’re going to love it! the closet placement is a little awkward but worth it for all the space. the bathroom is a nice too. i’m not sure but i think the captain may have the room next door. if not, the first officer. we are going to have the same room but on the NCL Jade in December..
not the exact same room, the same type of room. we will be between aft and midship.
Thank you for sharing. We have just booked the cruise and was disappointed by how dated the room looked. Anyway, it’s a larger room than the standard balcony.
it doesn’t look new but it’s very spacious especially considering it’s more of a mini suite. we’ve done a full suite in this ship and really enjoyed the food venues available to suite guests.

I'm not sure if I mentioned it. We went to Aruba & Curacao in our December and in our January cruises. We haven't been to Bonaire in a while though. I am not seeing it on itineraries and am wondering if it's just the lines I am picking or if they aren't taking ships right now. That happens when there has been damaged to the port or due to C19 precautions.
@@cruiserella2899 I think you’re right. I noticed that Explorer of the Seas will return there after it’s dry dock in mid-March. I would like to snorkel in Bonaire. From what I have read, it’s some of the best snorkeling and diving in the Caribbean. I’ll check for your updates. 🏖️

Have you ever stayed in a regular balcony? I am trying to figure out if I should upgrade to balcony club. I am already on the 11th floor in one of 4 regular balcony cabins. The other cabins on that level are club suites.
Not on the Jade or Dawn. Maybe on the Sun?? Look for that video of Norwegian Sun which was pre covid.

i don’t recall any issues. we are staying in same type room similar location i believe next month on the jade. the closet is nice but location is tricky.
@@cruiserella2899 Hoe is the location tricky. Or do you mean of the closet?
@@RKCALGARY the closet is on one side of the bed so it's not very easy for two people to use it at the same time or if one person is sitting on the bed getting dressed there is not alot of room for someone accessing the closet. The closet itself is very nice with a light and shelves. Not the worst closet - MSC gets that award - just cumbersome.
Definitely dated
very comfortable and spacious. but that closet facing the bed was a pain in the tooshie
