Nice to see you doing 30 inks Simone. I store my nib units in ink vials labelled and then in a storage box. I have only recently started to ink a selection of five pens, previously I used to just ink a pen I felt like using with a small amount of ink for the day. It worked just fine for me but I actually enjoy cleaning pens! Haven't decided yet which way I prefer, I think I need to give the experience of having a selection of inked pens a longer try before I decide.

Speaking of shimmer inks! The Lamy Safari I inked up last week that gave me fits with the first lines I wrote, writes fine after it sat for a day or so! I was shocked. But there still is that issue where the shimmer stops the longer the session is.
Seemonway I've watched your videos up to Day 15 but haven't commented. I think your give-away is a fantastic idea and good on you! I wouldn't have problems selecting inks for a 30 challenge: I've only got 28 inks.
Your process is quite unique and I complement you on the idea. I'm sure we'll learn from your ink challenge as well as the transcriptions that you make.

I like the shimmer in the ink you choose, it showed up well on screen. I am new to fountain pens and will be following your 30 days.
I’m glad to have watched this video! I have a bottle of blushing mushroom. I tried it in my twsbi eco and I couldn’t get it to write. Nor in a double broad kaweco. I had to add like a TON of white lightening to get it to flow at all. Next time i try it, i will definitely try it in a benu!

It's so funny how for me this ink looks different Everytime I see it in a video. Sometimes it seems very light purple but it looks really legible in this video. This is one I don't have , but I might need a sample to try it myself.

I Love what you are doing. Thank you so much! I have been playing with the shimmer inks, and I have struggled too. I recently decided to add water with my ink when I fill my pen. It has helped A Lot. Now, you have to keep in mind that it will change the ink color, and I am still playing with it to figure out the right ratio. I'm a little afraid that I opened a Pandora's box on this though. I imagine it will be subjective to the ink and the pen.

My blushing mushroom looks so different than yours. Mine is really pale purple grey. This looks great in your Benu broad! 365/2024 sounds like a ton of work but I'm sure I'll watch it if you do it. 😂
I just saw the completed writing closeup on IG. Yep, that's what mine looks like too. I'm really on the fence with this ink. I think it's beautiful but want it to be darker 😅

What are you referring to? If you mean the Ink Miser, that's what it is called. I saw it is available from Vanness and Jetpens.
