Fun video! Krieghoff. Perazzi. Caesar Guerini. Ahhhhhhhhhhh, the stuff dreams are made of.
Guerini not even in the same league.
And what 90% of people can't afford.
@@FYMM69 Price wise true. Quality I’m not so sure.
Boss, Purdey (Woodward), Fabbri, Fanzoj, Hofer, etc., etc. all the stuff of dreams.
I met these gentleman at the Reading Terminal Market in Philly today.
They were having a taste of Philadelphia just prior to flying back to England: a hefty cheesesteak no less.
They are engaging, gregarious and warm young men to whom I wish the best and who enhanced my lunch experience by koung me.
Alot of people I know own a Kriegoff and their very happy with this company
Those Germans do build a very lovely Remington! ;-) I expect CC Loomis would be proud.
😈
That's pricey for a shotgun, lottery money for me. The wood is a little disappounting at that price point though.
Love watching your reviews keep them coming!
K80 Test at German Clay Ground - Sörnewitz 👍 thk´s Jonny.
I have been a K80 owner and fan for many years. Barrel hangers and missing midribs a thing of beauty to me. To your point, the original K80 specs were not for everyone. The addition of differing barrel weights and configurations along with wood density and dimensions have made it possible for more people to find their dream gun. Besides, the most important part is the one where the barrels and wood attach. The K80 action is truly what makes this a legacy gun. "Krieghoff's are basically a Browning"? Said no one of consequence! 😉
👏🏻 brilliant review as always
9:34 - 9:40 😂😂 Very nice review! Lookin´ forward to see what you end up with J.C.
Nice review of a lovely gun. Thanks for sharing
3:25 yes I agree 100%. Too light and a little whippy for me
Love my Kriegoff!
Excellent review as always 👌. Maybe one day
I would love to see your opinion about the Italian Fair guns Got prestige jubilee last year and I could tell you it’s shoots so smooth
Lots of people don't know how to set them up the super sport you can raise the comb a fair bit to see 60.40 always patient plate my guns every so often makes shor it not changed
Har en Perazzi high tech S og den er fantastisk, men har købt en Krieghoff pro K80. Ikke så stor vandring på top lukke nøglen. Det er jeg glad for.
Brilliant as always!
Quick question. I'm off to Lake District (Coniston) in a couple of weeks. Do you know any shooting grounds in the area?
Crabtree farm at Lupton, not too far from Coniston.
@39jennydog Crabtree is a great shooting ground. I go all of the time and its just 3 miles off Jct 36 (M6)
not enough credit to that shooting place. Sörnewitz is the name of the little village close by. The shootings place name is Lichteberg! Some place to go, if you are looking for some sporting clays from easy to very advanced.
Absolutely fantastic shooting ground, lots of targets to play with and a nice relaxed atmosphere.
Would you swap your Longthorne for a Kriegoff ? Great to hear you on the Doghouse !
Said in a video a while back that you were going to compare the Caesar invictus action and internals with the standard submit modal are you still planing on doing this ?
I may well be wrong but I thought that Johnny did something like that a couple of years ago.
This maybe true - although I could do it again to be sure!
@@tgsoutdoorsI really enjoy your internal overviews ☺️ like those of bowling 525 and silver pigeon 😁
@@tgsoutdoorsreviewing any guerini will be lacklustre at best. Disappointing guns
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Nice - J - where is this shooting ground - anywhere near the factory?
About 4 hours!
@@tgsoutdoorsnice and close, Not
I prefer the solid stock
Interesting, like many my first impressions of Krieghoff were Ugh! But having watched your videos
I’m starting to change my mind. Never shot one though?
Don’t shoot one because then you’ll want one. P guns which I’ve owned don’t do anything for me but my K80 has me in love
Make a video on KX-6 Special please
Went to the factory having specced a Cat4…. Left having picked a Custom 1. The domino effect is real 😂
I still can't believe you went the DT-11 way... I could've bet my good boots you'll get a Krieghoff, if I knew you'll be switching from that Longthorn.
When did JC announce that he had decided on a DT-11?
@@Udeus5 pretty sure he is sponsored by beretta now
within 3 mins playing, the viewers again know that JC loves himself lol
😂 just fighting the self loathing every day
for over 16k that is one dissapointing piece of wood! Appreciate the quality of the workmanship overal though. Good vid well shot!
For £18k you can have really nice piece of wood, won’t make one bit of difference on how you shoot though. There’s a K gun for every price point, wether you want a gun to shoot or to look pretty. The only difference is one costs more. Choice is yours 😉
I like big guns and I cannot lie
You other brothers can’t deny…
Krieghoff make a good shotgun, there is no argument there, l just don't like that" heavy Germanic engraving " & for the price the timber quality could be better.
I don't like em over rated I think .I have had a few never liked the triggers! (Browning XS pro) can't beat em.
I guess we are opposite I’ve had browning they kick like a horse I love my k80 triggers are the best part I wouldn’t trade it for the world
I have a 32" gold standard CCH Parcours and I shoot trap and skeet with it. With 32 inch barrels, it's amazing how quickly I can transition between targets when shooting doubles. I shoot 3/4 ounces of 7 1/2 at 1180 fps. My only complaints is the barrels get hot quickly and wind gusts will catch the barrels like a sail and blow me off target. The Germans make the best everything.
As an owner of MB's for 20 yrs., I can assure you that that isn't true.
What the heck is a Super Sport...that you keep referencing to...do you mean the K 80 Pro Sport or the Blaser Super Sport...😊
This is what the k80 sporting set up is called in the UK
@@K80Ed perfect...you guys rule
As good as they are, i can't stand the look of them, and as silly as that is it counts for me
Why would that be "silly" at all?
@@wholeNwon in terms of it not being what makes a gun shoot well, but it makes the experience rubbish. Like driving a car you hate the look of
@@fullchoke01 Yup.
'Not inexpensive'? It's very expensive!
Who let you shoot without a cap or hat in Germany!? Hopefully german authorities are not amongst your viewers!
I hope we are allowed back… 🤣
@@K80Ed bringing some cider might help…🍻🍻
