    Mahindra Maxx and Sumos still running in majority and majority in my cities as taxis
    Man they're such a retro charm to the eyes...Those engine noises never felt irritating to me even after so many years....Spent my whole childhood traveling in such taxis and still they tun like crazy
    I still remember the first car in family was a Commander.... Still got it's glimpse when my first birthday Dvd was filmed but have to sell it 3 years later. So never remembered any trip on that. All glimpse remained in that dvd 💔

    Old cars being nearly mechanical were stressful to drive which required effort and strength. Modern cars being all automatic are making humans unoccupied even to close the door(Maybach. Rolls Royce,etc🙃)

    That's not battery temperature, that's an ampere meter and one more thing that thing on the right is heater blower and switch of the heater for the engine which is required for cold starting these old vehicles.

    The silver thing with holes beside the ignition on the right is a heating coil. The old Jeeps had it. I'm surprised to see it in this car.. it heats up the engine. You'll see a red spark inside when you pull the choke.

    At 7:01, that’s silver cover, it’s for heater ,in cold starts u have to hold the key to before ignition for few secs,after few secs u can see red hot coils which glows kinda clear the longer u hold the key ,so engine can turn on easily ,I guess it’s for that in this too,please correct me if am wrong :-)

    I have seen these cars since my childhood till today whenever I go to my Village through local train! I mean not exactly these ones but just a slightly better version of them.
    I have to travel from kasara to Nashik in either these or the omnis... And trust me it's way better than an Omni 😂😅🔥

    Hey faisal, a few days ago I went to a wedding function of a very wealthy person in our relation in Nashik... and guess what, my dad showed me the guy who designed Armada... i googled for his name but couldn't find it... he is pretty old, maybe 70 or above, tall... white hair n moustache... I swear im not joking... He had those 90's people's rich looks...

    The silver metal mesh is the heater, when you start the battery you have to wait for it to turn red, so it's a heating coil for the starter, thank me later 😛

    Old mahindras are full about ruggedness and made up of pure metal in most of the aspects like bumpers , fenders , side foot step that dashboard with less Electronics makes a great retro feel !

    7:00 i had asked once he said during cold start you can feel the warm air from heater plug, so that we can know heater plug is working. not sure about this though..

      Yes bro..there is also one small coil behind that crome ..so that we can touch and feel that the heater pluge is heated or not in the cold start.

    My dad had prebooked this and was one of the first customers to get the car.
    It ran well for 40k km after which it spent more time in the workshop rather than home.
    Then he got fed up and sold it off and bought a Qualis which he still drives around at 3 lakh KM on the odo.
