Plot twist: they're both sitting in the same car
I THOUGHT OF THIS TOO
Fantano continuing with the W response towards My Chemical Romance. Nothing but love for The Black Parade
I don’t mean to be a dick, but if you’re number one rock album is this, you need to listen to more music. I HATED it at the time. I now don’t hate it so much, but just the idea of it being in the top ten makes me want it pull out my own teeth.
I personally prefer Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge but I agree that Black Parade is the better album overall.
@@daviebananas1735 it’s better than a lot of the older records people like just because they are ‘old’.
@@masonlarkins I don’t think anybody likes records just because they are old. If anything a record which is loved DESPITE being so old is a mark of quality surely?
That album is not good
this is probably the best top 10 fantano reacted to so far based on the fact that he didn't hysterically laugh or screamed and then abruptly ended the clip lol
Not just me who had a problem with that😂😂😂
Best Rock albums with no Queen or Led Zeppelin? Weezer and Arctic monkeys are here tho? Awful list.

9- Arcade Fire - Funeral
8- The Strokes - Is This It
7- David Bowie - Blackstar
6- Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
5- Television - Marquee Moon
4- Slint - Spiderland
3- Fugazi - The Argument
2- The Beatles - Abbey Road
1- Radiohead - In Rainbows
I only discovered Fugazi recently and man, what an incredible band they are
God that is a good list, and the figazi one too, you got me there
great list, spiderland is my no. 1
@@ursulasamsa Fugazi and Slint share some sonic similarities, especially their earlier material - both emerging from the hardcore scene. If you look at Fugazi's Red Medicine album, you'll notice the band swimming in a lake upside down - pretty sure it's a nod to Slint! I'm sure you'll enjoy the band quite a bit!
@@ursulasamsa that's a really good fugazi album, my favorite is end hits

Favourite worst nightmare is such a good album. Needs more love
Arctic Monkeys don’t get enough recognition in the U.S.

@@brenetssss i'm sorry but

Band On The Run is an unbelievable album
I actually need him to talk about the Favourite Worst Nightmare hate, this is not his first diss of that album. Its a great album, if he doesnt like that i imagine he doesnt like any Arctic Monkeys. Which is fine - seems quite a common position online - but i swear he's said before he doesnt hate all their stuff
Yeah I thought he liked the first two albums and hated everything else
He isn’t hating, it’s just not a top 5 rock album of all time
im not really a fan of that album but i really like the debut.
@@mutedmathamatician Yeah and Black Parade is not the best rock album of all time. These are people's opinions but it's not an outrageously weird choice to the point that you'd question it. I would put FWN higher but a lot of people don't like Arctic Monkeys because they're too popular or have an annoying fan demographic and don't give an objective take on the music
After years of being a fan of the band, I think FWN is one of the weakest tbh.
Debut is a masterpiece and FWN just feels like it falls short in all the ways the previous excelled.
I will not tolerate the Band On The Run slander, every song on there is amazing (although I don't think it's as good as Abbey Road imo).
I adore Band On The Run and yeah every song is a banger, but is not even the best solo beatle stuff

@@Pixiesforever7 MCR & Green day were my Gateway Bands to Rock. It was thanks to Black Parade that I got into Ziggy Stardust and then Bowie then Rock
@Punctured Bicycle it's an interesting one because I hated MCR and that terrible American Idiot album
@@Pixiesforever7 valid
@@Pixiesforever7 “when I was at school” if you were at school at the height of their popularity you should have a better perspective than anyone why they weren’t a joke band and how it was all American purist media satanic panic, and kids bullying kids. They were just the latest in the long (iconic) line of male music acts getting harassed for wearing a lil bit of guyliner, or being a bit flamboyant. They were way more competent musicians than anyone else on rock radio at the time and have always just been genuinely passionate about their craft, obviously personal taste is completely down to you and I wouldn’t want to shame you for not liking something, opinions are arseholes etc! But “joke band” is disingenuous and bad faith, Ray Toro is a great guitarist, and the 2010s failed miserably to produce a frontman like Gerard Way, who knows when we’ll see one like him again (or if we’ll have to, since he just completed his best tour in terms of vocals since the start of his career)?

True, but even as somebody who enjoys some arctic monkeys myself, sometimes I can't listen to them too long without getting bored/annoyed on a really bad day so I don't blame him

Band on the Run is 10/10 what a banger.
Mamunia kinda sucks but there is 1985 so it evens out to a pretty solid album
@@chandler_martian no it doesn’t
My favorite rock album is the Ministry album where Al Jourgensen says such controversial and brave statements as “I hate bad people!” and “Global warming is not good!”
Ministry never really had lyrics that I would describe as good, but at least on the early albums he'd distort his vocals so much that you couldn't really make them out half of the time
@@andrei11dr That's what makes the last album so much worse for me. Not only was it terrible on it's own, but it made me realize that Ministry had a lot of very big flaws SINCE THE BEGINNING; the only difference is that at least in the past the music was enjoyable enough so that we could ignore them. I legit haven't listened to any Ministry song since that atrocious last record.
@@obzzidian94 Oh, I never listened to anything past Filth Pig, I like to pretend that the band just ended on that one, cause I remember getting 4 songs into Darkside of the Spoon and going "welp, fuck this shit, I can just go back to the trilogy if I want to hear some Ministry"
