  • Captured here is the '7 pm Cheer' surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic taking place outside Burnaby Hospital. Every night at 7 o'clock people cheer, clap, and bang pots and pans to send a thank you message to the 'essential workers' fighting the virus at local hospitals. Emergency services also regularly show their support with improvised lights and sirens parades around hospitals throughout Canada. In this video the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Burnaby Detachment decided to mix things up and organized a march past the emergency room, complete with bagpipes and Mounty uniforms! On another night the emergency services of Burnaby put on a full lights and sirens display, with many older and rare vehicles, such as the iconic Ford Crown Victoria police interceptor, taking part!
