I don't see that is the only answer to all this, there are always going be mistakes made out on the track or if it is troulbe makers.
Ghosting a car is the only way to stop players from causing trouble, I don't like the idea of ghosting but it makes it fair racing if you like it or not. I want to go an enjoy these daily races they have onlne and not get so frustrated, having real damage on a car is going to make you more frustrated because you wan't to continue the race.
One thing about these racing leagues, at least if you cause trouble you are not allow in that group anymore. Daily races should be the same as racing league, but sadly that will not happen.
Very sorry for the long comment, because I get so frustrated doing the right thing out on the track, and I am a fair player and now the daily races are finished with me now.
Wreckfest is the best fest, and the ONLY sim racer. Change my mind.
Or better yet, ban people! Forza Motorsport style, it might be harsh but they learn!
You nailed it Naughty. Your concern about the matching system "SR" and penalties or bad penalty system is why I race GT7 in small doses.
Agreed. I generally don't bother with the daily races anymore. Single-player races and tournaments, or setting my own race/lap records at various circuits in older cars.
Yeah, at some point everyone might switch to small doses if the quality doesn't improve
Last week we had Le Mans, but no strategy which made it one of the worst stops we have had at Le Mans. Man, I wish they would give us a week there where they ban the old cars in the "Gr 1" class, which would at least shake up the meta of just 787B. Then, from last weeks meh, they give us this stinker. I literally don't think I will race a single daily this week... Spot on, man.

Daily Race B sucks too. My DR and SR rating has been trashed because of people that cant drive that will screw up the cork screw at Laguna and go off track and ram you getting back on. If you try to slow up to give room you get rammed from the rear. I am actually good at Laguna but have unavoidable collisions EVERY race.
Bro wtf are the crash physics? I dropped to safety rating B after being smashed around and someone punted a guy well ahead of me and the physics made both cars completely STOP in front of me and I slammed my brakes on but still hit them at low speed and pin balled both into the shadow realm like balling balls 😂 and I got a massive 5 second pen and fell to B rating 😭😭😭😭
I will give this week a miss and go flying in my flight simulator instead.
This week I was disappointed to see this combo as well. Great track which rarely gets used coupled to two turd bombs. How different it would have been with a radical/mono/xbow choice. 30 second penalties for any contact should be the rule.

Worst set of Dailies in recent memory. Daily A looked like it might be fun for something different, until it was revealed the rally race was a FF road car. A GrB car? Evo/WRX/Focus RS road car? Truck or Urus? Na, let's use the worst possible car layout possible... FF road car where we can't even use the emergency brake. Even C could've been fun had they use like ANY OTHER car. Why the same car over and over?
Not only are the races so boring I have zero interest in doing any of them, but they're so boring the streamers I usually watch... these races make their streams boring as well. Not surprised most have said they'd be doing lobbies and doing other games this week (ACC, iRacing, etc.).
It's okay, we have TGR on Sunday that will be super fun... oh wait, it's an EIGHT lap Gr4 sprint race. *sigh

I like the online races for something different. But wonder why I bother when I gain a couple places and still lose driver rating? I'm a D rated driver, but was getting close to a C. All it took to shoot that down was get bumped and finish dead last a couple times. Kind of frustrating to be honest.

Divebombing is the oldest problem polyphony has. Until they have damage and severe penalties, it isn’t going to change

Its not just GT7 even iRacing is getting like this outside of oval racing it can be a huge s**t show with the rammers or people wanting revenge after an incident, my first road race on iRacing two guys was bumping on the start of the race on the second lap the dude in 2nd he was bumping with 1st place just cut turn one and wrecked them both out the race, I dont get why people feel the need to do that as you risk collecting innocent racers at times.

So disappointed, especially after a Lemans daily that I played dozens of times, and found extremely enjoyable. This particular daily sea with the autophalos and road car combo I despised before and I really despise again.

It could be worse you could be stuck with Forza ms7 like us x boxers. Good luck figuring out the logic to the penalty system and car performance on that one. One of most infuriating racing games I've ever had the misfortune of playing and ive been playing forza online since forza ms3 so for over 15 years now.
The safety rating should go up as slowly as the driver rating imo its way too easy for dirty drivers to get back to S

Yeah, this is why I mentioned to you in a prior video that European servers tend to be harder cos of the amount of player base... and it's extremely difficult to reach A+ there.
Whereas America's servers/lobbies tend to be a lot more diverse, making it slightly easier to rank up depending on the times you play (CRB incl')
However. This copy n paste rinse and repeat race is probably heaven for controller drivers, since the last two daily C races were likely hell for them.
Well, hello, I'm the 🇨🇱 guy who beated you at least 1 time at Le Mans Daily C driving 787B using a controller and not a wheel, I remember you because I started in first row and you started from the back finishing 2nd meanwhile in my case I won, I don't understand that logic from you A drivers starting from the back, yes, I'm A driver now too but I'm not doing that, starting from first row or pole position is the best than dealing with traffic, anyway, good race was that one with two different ways of what is fun for you and what I want in a race 👍

Give iRacing a try, I bought a sim rig for GT7 back when it came out. Found myself getting bored pretty quickly.
Dude.. there is nobody choosing these races at polyphony. They are just set on an automated computer that randomly selects from a boring stack of options. The online diversity and options of racing tells you everything you need to know about the game. They don't care about cars or racing or the experience, it's just a money grab.
I agree, but if they don't fix it, people might move on to another game and not renew that PS Plus membership!
These races are the result in all the streamers whining aboot having to tune their cars per track per race, alongside the VGT's being "roadcars" for daily races. There USED TO be a wide variety(until somebody would post an OP downtuned vehicle video) of cars in every race. But Poly went back on the PP system and resorted to the GTS nonsense dailies.
@@Leotheleprachaun yeah I remember the early days of online Gran Turismo when you could be racing street cars on the same track with GT3 cars and everybody could be on different tires. The only regulation was a combination of PP and drivetrain and weight. Those were the glory days. C5 z06 was my light saber lol

I feel scammed, I drank the “GT7 is cleaner than Forza Motorsport” koolaid and can you imagine my shock? This is the dirtiest game I’ve ever played, it’s dirtier than FH. Everytime I get to B rated driver rating it gets worse and I just get murdered back to C! What’s worse is simply being involved as a victim of this dirty driving also dropped my safety rating to A verging on falling to B!!! Why do Sony players feel the need to lie to the public?
Just one of the incidents in this video is enough to have you banned on FM for a week, 2nd ban is a month, 3rd ban is perma ban, which means the player needs to buy a new console to play. If this was in place with GT7 there would be no Kimi, unless he had unlimited money to keep buying new PS5’s 😂 it’s such tripe! Please stop lying to people, I’ll stick it out but damn I’m close to unscrewing my wheel, selling my PS5 and just sticking to FM. Atleast I know there’s consequences on FM for dirty drivers.
And I can speak from experience that Turn 10 don’t F around with the bans! In FM7 I had enough of the dirty players so I retaliated only to turn my Xbox on and be banned. It works!

Not only that, he did not free practice. Setting a lap time would have put him in a position he wouldn't be the riffraff. It's why he has two accounts. One he's serious about and one for seal clubbing for views. If no one ever takes the high road we all end up in the gutter I think.

Ehh, slow with a bad qualifying doesn't mean riff Raff, plenty of people are clean but aren't necessarily quick. Starting from the front doesn't mean you'll have an easy race. The problem is, that if not many people are doing the race, you will end up with people who are not at the same skill level as you, higher or lower, which leads to chaos.
