      It's so hard to fake an Aussie accent. Even the simplest word "no" is impossible for me! It sounds like it's got a couple of extra letters in it when an Aussie says it.

      Except that Californians aren't complaining about their accent being butchered. Because there are so many accents there (the state is larger and more populated than most countries on Earth). So they don't get worked up about it. Unlike some Aussies here.

      @@bobbypinkston9374 traits you can find in most larger countries with many accents. UK & USA being the most prominent. (Theres like 5 types of southern US accents for example)
      Your example reminds me of the liverpool vs London accents. Or Welsh vs Scottish. In America most southern dialects also end in an upswing (Appalachian). This is something they share with Californian accents. But then again there are southern accents (Cajun,Texan) that end in the down swing. New Yorker accents usually have down swings as well.
      Sorry you took me down a rabbit hole there 🤣

    Im an Aussie and found this pretty funny. The accents were a bit all over the place....kiwi/Aussie/Swedish?/American. One thing I cant work out is the association with Fosters beer. No one here drinks it. Ive worked in many bars and Ive never served it. Ive seen more Australians drink Duff beer than Fosters.

    Kate Mckinnon can actually do a pretty spot on Aussie accent. Watch her video where she sings the Ghostbusters theme song in different accents. Kate's Aussie accent in that video sounds like it came straight off Sunrise. Exaggerated accents were obviously used for comedic purposes here.

    I’m a half aussie/half kiwi raised in NZ living in aussie and I can say those accents are hilarious and clearly over the top! Most of us don’t talk like that! The dialogue is great though 🤣🤣🤣

    Haha at one point Bill Hader's Australian "accent" sounded New Zealand. "Aww no, I'm sehd (sad)". Fred Armisen's impersonation is pretty good. One of the best I've heard though is from Robert Downey Jr in Tropic Thunder as Kirk Lazerus.

      Because if they knew they weren't nailing the accents WHILE parodying cheesy Aussie classics then pulling out Fosters was entirely consistent. Shame on you. But if they were trying to nail the accents and the peculiarities of Aussie culture, then the Fosters was a fail. Shame on them.

    Kate Mckinnon can actually do a pretty spot on Aussie accent. What her video where she sings the Ghostbusters theme song in different accent. Kate's Aussie accent in that video sounds like it came straight of sunrise. Exaggerated accents were obviously used for comedic purposes here.

    This was so funny you know secretly Fred wanted to die of laughter and love that accents is always a challenge for Louis C.K. This was brilliant but I feel like this should of been a Reese de'what sketch but Fred carried it beautifully.

    The host did a pretty good job of am Aussie accent. Best one I've heard so far actually. The other two sounded like a Kiwi at times, but not bad all round. Funny skit too, I laughed hard! Captured us perfectly :)
