@__NORO__ hard to say for sure but I'd half to assume that the grenades still missed. The numbers you see are because the Euphony causes thredlings to spawn on target location

Only some hit, def needs to aim higher and if by some miracle they hit way down below the DMG is going to be way less than if he aimed higher and did crits instead. W/e tho, in the end it's all about staying alive and when you're in these situations it can be hard to stay level headed when you're sliding to the left and hopping around lol

@@seanallen9 I remember seeing a video of a 6 man warlock team with euphony one phasing the witness. Granted that video was recorded during strand surge, but even then they should still do a lot of damage. Also there's only one hunter on the team according to the title, so unless the remaining 4 are straight up ass, the hunter should only be doing 1/4 to 1/3 of the damage.

Of course it didnt replace strand, strand is broken. I do think that casually prismatic is most powerful because if you dont understand how to or dont want to make a build, prismatic is almost always the best option

if you time it right, which is not easy by any means, you can land all of them
its a massive pain in the ass ive found tho and nova bomb cataclysm (i think? the one that breaks into axion bolts) is easier
Nova cataclysm is a very bad idea for this boss as it's large and will block all bullets that people accidentally shoot at it instead of at the boss. You need to use the vortex nova bomb.

@theoriginalbeanboy cataclysm moves slow, blocks bullets, and breaker into pieces. Vortex moves fast, doesn't block bullets, and doesn't break into pieces. Vortex never gets in the way.

@@Bitter765Because running surges in your legs to maximize damage is actually risky just to pump up your weekly surge even more. With the surges gone, people can use more survivability mods in the legs, like better already, not to mention kinetic damage is getting buffed. I guess this is the beginning of the Microcosm era.

You occasionally see the grenade damage numbers at the very bottom of the screen when he looks down a bit and you can see the spindle buff stacking up. The grenades are hitting
The point of the grenade is to get the spindle buff as high as possible. Hitting the boss is like cherry on top.
@@OthersideSparrow Yes, but no. Like a very big part of the damage is coming from the threadlings, especially when he is on strand and probably on the fragment that buffs threadling damage. Also he ddnt even shot much even with the Spindle buff at 25x stacks so he coulda got more damage using a normal linear. The whole point of the linear is to use the whole reserves while on spindle 25x, so reaching the number but then shooting 3 or 4 times isnt doing much
Hey guys if you have a titan with ursa you dont have to dodge left and right you only have to dodge the jump allowing for easy 2 phases
Why does Destiny have these larger-than-life final bosses that could literally step up on the platform everyone is on and just start stomping to kill anything in their path, but don't?
Same reason why raid bosses don't do their instakill wipe moves immediately, because that would be boring.
bait and switch is horrible for this boss because youre only shooting 2 rockets at a time so you just dont get bait and switch for no rckets better to have explosive

sounds like people use hunter as a crutch instead of getting good at the game. learning to rely on a busted build to pass easy encounters what happens when they inevitably nerf it into the floor? most people won’t be able to pass these very basic encounters

Weird ass build, in the time you are shooting your weapon, you miss out on so many grenade throws, since you have infinite nades with apotheosis veil for 10 sec… might as well just use Demo Vorpal apex predator with a better grenade.
