A little bit about me:
I am a full time illustrator, originally from The Lake District, now following my lifelong dream of living in Cornwall.
I love working with a range of media and materials to bring charm and warmth to my illustrations.
In 2014, I graduated from the Manchester School of Art with a first class honours degree, where I also won the Alumni Award for illustration.
Since graduating, I have been continuously working as a freelance illustrator, designing my own ever expanding range of giftware, and collaborating with a broad range of clients, including books for international publishers, maps for Lake District National Park, and multiple ranges of best selling Christmas Hampers for Lakeland.
I have always been inspired by nature and animals, and loves to work both by hand and digitally to bring her work to life. Living by the sea is a constant source of inspiration for me, as well as opening up my eyes to the issues our oceans face.
When i'm not in the studio, I can be found surfing around the coasts of Cornwall, walking my 2 Border Terriers, hunting for treasures, or hiding in a cosy cafe with a cuppa and a slice of cake!

If you’re a complete beginner and here to learn from my tier 2 “how to draw” videos, I recommend starting back at the beginning (seals) and working your way up, as I talk a lot about mark making and really simplifying things, and then start to make things a bit more complex as time goes on, so you can progress 😊 You will quickly have a sketchbook FULL of beautiful illustrations that you can show your friends and family (and growing Instagram following!)
Advanced illustration Tier: £9 per Month:
1 Video + Extra Bonus Bits/Drawing inspiration Every Month, PLUS Everything on the Below Tier.
Join this creative crew of budding artists and seasoned pros! It’s the perfect level up from the illustration club tier, or an ideal place to hone your skills if you are a more advanced illustrator. When you choose to join this tier, you will have access to a whole library of videos!
This tier will contain a mixture of more in depth tutorials about how to use specific materials as well as showcasing an insight into my working practise and sketchbooks. If you love art and illustration, and already do it in your spare (or full!) time, then this tier is for you!
Children's Book & Professional Practice Tier: £15 per Month:
1 Post/Video a Month + Bonus Bits, PLUS Everything on the Below Tiers.
This is the ultimate tier for those illustrators among you, who want to take your children's book illustrations, and/or business to the next level!
As you may know, I have been a freelance illustrator for the last 10 years, illustrating numerous children's books for publishers all over the world, as well as maps, branding & products, and also running my own website & Etsy shops and wholesale business.
There will be a mixture of bite sized tutorials, sharing tips and tricks, advice and knowledge on this tier, but it isn't going to be as tutorial lead as the lower tiers, as I want to share my knowledge and advice as a starting point for you to take onto your own journey 😊 However, it's going to be PACKED with super useful information and inspiration for you guys, as well as the occasional tutorial!!

Do the Tombow/Ecoline's tend to bleed through the page? I've heard that water based inks bleed a lot less than alcohol based, was wondering your experience/preference! Thanks!
Hello! It all depends on how much you use and what paper you are using - however. from experience I would say 99% of the time it doesn't bleed through at ALL! 😊 I use Moleskine and Royal Talens and Pith sketchbooks!

Loved drawing along with you BUT i found that the music is a bit too loud and quite distracting.
