Cool little amp, using it with my president McKinney 2 base with A-99 up around 15 feet, not the strongest one out there but they hear me when I key up , thanks for the review Rooster

I have a 300P but didn't research well enough.. I needed it for lower HF bands, but it seems it's really designed for 10-11 m operation. Should have looked it up instead of believing the guy at the ham fest who said he used on 40 and 20m! lol Brand new, so I guess I'll see if I can sell it.

I have a Texas Ranger TR-966 with a MOSFET modification. It does 8 watts RMS and 30 PEP. Can I safely drive this amp the way the radio is without adjusting the radio? I have heard I should drop my radio back to 4 watts RMS but I really don't want to if I don't have to. Thanks!

It says HF for the coverage …. Have you tested these on 20 or 40 meters? It would be perfect for the new 705 or 818 radios. Please let me know if they will work properly on those frequencies without high input swr showing on radio when transmitting , thanks!

It'll most likely be 25 MHz to 30 MHz, they're are sold as 10m amps for amateur radio but everybody knows what they're really for.

COOL..Just color of switches everything else same . I bought RM 300 without preamp. You can set RF.Gain and squelching equalize them together to almost do the same things that the preamp does. And depending on the antenna and radio that being used. I use a 30 amp AC/DC I set voltage at 13.9v for my palamor 150. Amplifier. And RM. I Bought the bigger amp in case I ever wanted to hook a bigger watts amplifier up this way already have the amperage to handle higher watts. I run a Galaxy base and Texas Ranger Mobile with my amplifiers just stay between 2- 6 watts dead key and they run fine. I'm in NW Iowa. handle is COWPATTE maybe shoot skip some days on channel 22 talk east south and west coast off and on between 1-5 o'clock . have good week

7w average, 25-30w pep, says so @4.20(ish), I have a little kl203, I can hit that with 20w no problem, its a tough little amp, I tend to keep it around 6-8w input Power and it works great for 50-80w.
Zetagi B300p, anything over 10w and the fuse will blow, says on the bottom, exceeding 5w on #6 is not recommended, I don't use #5,6, but a 9w limit sucks, atleast with the kl's you can put a clean 10w into it, if not more, so definitely worth considering when buying an amp.

My old radios doesn't fit in my car. (Galaxy DX979AM/SSB) I am looking at the President Mc Kinley AM/SSB do to its smaller size. The automotive manufacture doesn't recommend running more then 100 Watts. I have been watching several of your videos and wanted your opinion if you think the RM203P on low would be a good fit for that radio?
