You cannot check the drive axel to make sure the hub bearings are full of oil. No window or plug. Only way is to check amount of lub in rear-end by removing the fill plug with a wrench. Also you started by saying to walk all th.e way around the truck. But you did not. Also you did not check the wiring for the trailer lights under the trailer. Also what about the bed of the trailer, loose boards, holes, Metal broken. Also what about tie-down points for no cracks, and adequate for use. Also check break air lines for wear points on truck and trailer.
