the 15 yr old who admitted to being addicted to it lowkey breaks my heart. A minority of people don't seem to care about the well being of children, especially online, and will actively expose them to disgusting things through games that are meant to be a fun and safe place to play and hang out with their friends. I long for the day children will finally be safe in their own games, and people will actively try to keep them safe
EDIT: damn I didn't expect this to get to much attention, but that's cool. I'm glad people care as much about the safety of kids online. It's very important to ensure that the future is kept safe and taught the right things.

The accounts these preds churn out are like a couple months old at MOST. Roblox doesn't do much to enforce their guidelines if they can help it, and deterring child abusers seems like too much effort for them. The most harsh punishment I've seen them give was an intimidation suit to RubenSim, and an IP ban to some streamer who raided their forums like 5 years ago
im pretty sure having them being involved in a video with thousands of views would get them reported hundreds of times to Roblox.

@@Unlucky-NooMy advise is just take a break from Roblox and any other apps used for your addiction and put a filter on NSFW content. Put a restriction on yourself. Talk to someone who you can trust to help you through it and join real life activities to focus on that more. I hope this advice helps man.

There's a common acronym among predators. EPI, or "Early Porn Introduction", the idea being that making them more 'receptive' to the content will make them easier to control.
What's worse is that it works, if that last story is to be taken as truth. Children and teenagers are impressionable and lack impulse control, and can be slowly manipulated into becoming addicted to NSFW content, even just one accidental exposure in that 15-year-old's case was enough.
It's deplorable how they can exploit the natural curiousity of a child and use it to corrupt them for such abhorrent things...
One exposure is definitely all it takes. I would know.

I don't think there's much control either way, regardless of your age. I am not saying this to dismiss minors being exposed to pornography , but older teenagers [18-19] can still be just as susceptible to a pron addiction and manipulation. Everyone is different
I remember being exposed to pornographic content when I was 8 and I sorta got addicted to it. I didn't even understand the very concept of intercourse at that time but I just became addicted to consuming that type of content. I was addicted to it at first but then that turned into disgust. Now, just any sexual activity disgusts me. I just find it so dirty. So disgusting. It's probably because of my trauma and I doubt I'll ever recover from it.

It breaks my heart looking at this one 15 year old actually stating a REAL BAD problem within Roblox. I also found out about those Condos through a exploiter teleporting a entire server into a bad place. I don't think it's happening these days anymore, but you never really know and Roblox still shouldn't take a nap on this issue. It really just triggers me that Roblox is not able to do something to end all of those bad things.

Now I wish that Roblox's CEO should listen extremely closely to the Roblox community; and even Ruben Sim they should be listening to of course. Roblox has still not ban those fetish games from their platform, and leading into acute risks into being on the news about a predator who either kidnapped a minor, or do disgusting roleplays to a minor.
Roblox should stop ignoring us and unfocus on Rhtro or crappy updates they can possibly do.
From what I can tell, if your games make Roblox enough dosh they'll do whatever they can (or rather, nothing at all) to keep you the platform, atleast until the FBI gets you, and even then they won't even ban your account. If you're just a rando, well, then they'll drag their feet to ban you and your 2 week old account that you made in 4 minutes. That'll teach em to not commit a class b felony!

Alot of IPs are dynamic, hence why IP bans have not been issued for years. Hardware ID bans are more effective.

Its truly depressing to see how little roblox does to prevent this, i experienced a similar thing around 2 years ago as that 15 year old, i got addicted to pornography and erp which really messed me up, i managed to stop but its just depressing and sad to see how many other kids fall in the same rabbit hole and how many dont manage to climb out of it

I feel like something that may be worth looking into is the discord accounts that many of these roleplayers tend to share one way or another. I imagine the worst stuff happens there, as it's not under the (semi) watchful eye of Roblox anymore, and considering that almost every high-profile Roblox Predator case was closely related to off-website discussions in Discord, it's most likely a very large vector for the worst that these 'people' tend to do...
This is such an adorable idea. Although the weirdos that you interview don't get in any trouble unlike the real "To Catch A Predator", seeing people get caught in the act will never not put a smile on my face.
i kinda resonate with the imdownforwhatever guy as i was also introduced to sexual content when i was very young(around 7-8) which led me to seek out people that were WAAAY older than me as i got more into it. although he shouldn't be doing these things with children, he's the same age as me which makes this even more depressing

I actually got exposed to nsfw content when I was 13. I was addicted. It was so bad. I never actually did what these kids did. But it’s still sad that no one cares about Children online. Dealing with an actual pred can be pretty horrible, and after a while it can effect you mentally. These people know what to say to you and their victims, and it can be a lot to deal with.
Trust me when I say roblox's chat holds them back a lot. When you see them on other platforms it can be... pretty bad.

As a person who was exposed to some of the most disgusting material around age of 5, and when i was 7-8, accidentally joining a condo game and being taken advantage of by much older people in roblox. Roblox moderation sucks. This kept on for a until I was late 9/early 10 and stopped playing those games after i heard about pedophiles and grooming. My brother had the same experience as I did aswell, albeit a year younger then me.
I really hope parents remember to restrict parts of the internet that are mature, I know mine never really checked what i did, and let me have unrestricted internet as a kid. Even recently when I've had mini scrabbles with my parents about it, telling them that they should've restricted my access when i was only a little kid. I never went into detail about some things, but they know that I saw porn as early as 4-5. They basically told me it was normal.
It fucks you and your perception of sex up as you grow older man, I'm pretty sure i have a porn addiction because of it, I've been trying to recover from it, but its unsteady and slow. I just genuinely hope that Imdown can find someone to help him.

When I used to play maple hospital, I once met this girl who was undergoing *'maternity'* (An actual feature in the game). I decided to be a bad doctor and troll her a bit, using emotes along with a hammer implying that Im trying to hurt her. To my horror, she somehow uses that dressing button to remove all her clothes and appear naked. Then she starts doing... questionable emotes and says "Lets have sx". I back up and try to get her username to report, but she was using an rp name. Soon she realized, and just left.
I imagine, to a degree, that because of many people's attitude of thinking "oh they are just messing around", degenerates think that it's okay to do such things. I, myself, should be blamed for trying to do weird, stupid things in the first place. I realize now, that even those small things, around kids, can have massive consequences.

Unfortunately, the problem here is that the predator can leave at any time. Unlike in real life where you are a tangible person and cant leave on a dime, here you can press two keys twice and you're gone. Good stuff, though.
The tragedy is that 18+ games are coming to Roblox soon, meaning that adult content on Roblox will most likely not be removed

This would probably help fox the problem, the lesser of 2 evils, less minors will join these games, and it will hugely decrease the chance of minors being exposed to sexual stuff unless they used their parents ID or something. While I understand it is roblox, inheritly if this content is shown between adults and adults only, I see no issues with it. That's the problem tho, roblox isn't marketed as such game. And the fact that there is still a small chance minors could still join these games is also very bad. But it would actually make things better than they are at least.

I got exposed to this stuff in roblox when i was 12 years old. Since then i have a porn addiction that I'm silently trying to fix alone all thanks to roblox and their lack of care
I feel like ever since the 2016 bypass era, predators started realizing the crappy moderation and used the community that started as a joke because of people like albertsstuff and other edgy roblox creators to make themselves look cool (like what rkelly did) and it sadly works because there has already been cases like cheesecake and xboxdiamondgirl
You can tell how it went from people joking about roblox characters doing nasty things to like,,, getting their rocks off it.
I joined in March 2018 (kind of late), and I kind of cant make my own opinions about what you said, but then again, I am a history nerd (including Roblox history, too) but I think condos have existed/got big around 2011 - 2012, as I remember seeing an archived video that was dated in 2012 of a low-quality condo with bad-inappropriate morphs, and later a guy came in and exposed people doing it. I think the real trace can start to be pointed around 2009, especially Mid-2009 ROBLOX, when Roblox was becoming more customizable in nearly every way possible, and bad actors started catching on a few years prior. I think there was also this trend in early 2010s ROBLOX, where people would "expose oders", make them leave, and report them (and just hope they get banned).
What I can say, though, is that in the late 2010s era of roblox, there weren't many condos noticable, I think condos started to fall off on Roblox during that period. There was UGC at the last few months of 2019, but throughout August - December 2019, UGC was actually pretty moderated, and only trusted users, got in the program, before it spread in the 2020-census, so that (mostly) removes 2019 from the condo spike. And then... 2020 happened
I was an ERPer as a kid because I was pressured into it. I think I was 11. I don't think people realize while there is predators- a good chunk of the NSFW community are kids. It's kids getting other kids addicted.
It's also a parent/enviromental thing. I got a lot of attention from ERPing because my home life was terrible and they didn't give me the attention I needed. I was also being SAd by peers so it only increased my hypersexuality and addiction to ERP.
It's all around messed up and sad.
Man I'm thankful I didn't go through this appalling experience as a kid, I really feel bad for that last dude. I hope he overcomes that addiction.
i was in that same situation as the 15 year old, i got exposed to this stuff when I was 9, then from there i kept doing it until i was 14, when I realised this was terrible and i needed help. told my parents about it, and now i work on reporting any and all of these guys to proper discord servers. good example of this is Bayside High School, it has a hidden community within it's custom servers full of these guys, working on getting mods and staff to do something about it

I use to do this a year ago when I was 12/13 and I still do it sometimes.. it's a hard addiction and it's hard to get help of it because alot of people think your trolling, i had a story like the guy because puberty started and i was in that horn phase. I was literally addicted and depressed, people would use me and I would want a relationship and I felt like trash. I stopped doing it alot but it's still hard
a couple of years ago (2 years ago or 1 and a half) I was developing a Roblox game with my online friend. the two of us didnt really know how to script to we relied on free models from the marketplace. our game got an average of 1,000 players daily. but while developing this game, we would accidently let a backdoor inside our game (being some sort of a Free Model) when i went on the game the Exploiters were destroying the game. my online friend joined a different server and found a condo server that the exploiter had put in the game, my friend quickly shutdown the server. Many of the users that played our game were most likely very young and having them be exposed to this type of behavior is very disgusting. he then put the game down until we found the backdoor. its honestly extremely disgusting that someone could do that people do this type of stuff on a online platform that is usually played by a younger range of players.

I think the reason behind the countless insane grooming videos of 2021 were because of covid and the roblox player count explosion of 2020, and I dont even know what caused 2023's child grooming situation

I have meet many minors with a crippling porn addiction doing these things and exposing themselves to predators without knowing :/ its a horrible situation, im 20 and i started playing roblox in 2016 or so and since then i have seen the same things that lead to this kids being porn addicted as such young age keep being up in there and roblox barely takes action on groups where predators get these kids from, they do delete condos but the condo groups in roblox just still up there spawning monsters for years to come

The reason is because of the lack of moderation in social medias, video games and even at school or home. Children like me are very easily influenced, when they see something new, they want to know more and they'll probrably like it. Parents should have more moderation on their kids, if not then this will continue, this is the reason there are so many pedos are out there. Adults, TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!!

I was introduced to that kind of content (not on Roblox) at 11-12 by a family member. I'm 19 now and I would definitely say that exposure to that kind of content has affected me a lot growing up. I became addicted to it, and it really messed up my relationships with people.
I was blamed for it when I was caught watching the videos, but I never received proper help for it. I don't think it ever crossed my mom's mind that I was addicted to it. She just seen it as me being a bad kid, which I wasn't, in my opinion. I was just exposed to adult content at a young age, and it messed me up. It was more so the family member's fault. They were older, knew right from wrong, yet still decided to introduce me to it...along with other things, which I don't feel comfortable talking about on here.
For me, it started off with me being introduced to the videos and then it led to me seeking out more. I joined dating sites that weren't necessarily about dating if you know what I mean. At one point, I was talking to an older man on one of the sites, and we talked on the phone. I was probably around 13-14 then and we talked about meeting up some day. Thankfully, my mom caught me and took my phone because if she didn't, I probably wouldn't be here today. I only had it taken from me for like a few days before she gave it back and I resulted to looking for content in things that I enjoyed like CZcams and Roblox. That's how I discovered the condo games. I don't remember what happened exactly, but I ended up getting grounded for a year--absolutely no electronics or TV. That was enough time for me to kind of get over it, or was it? I ended up getting groomed twice after I was ungrounded. I was 15 and they were 18. I was 16 and they were 21.
I'm okay now though. I've really been working on myself this past year. I just finished my first semester of my sophomore year in college. I'm really focused on prioritizing my mental and physical health as well :)
I watch shows like To Catch a Predator, Catfish, and Undercover Underage now and well, the internet is a scary place. I could've ended up in a really bad situation and it's mostly because I was introduced to content like that at a young age. Now, I'd consider myself a strong advocate for keeping that kind of content only accessible to adults. It's so easy to find it nowadays though, it's scary. I have two younger brothers who have been given complete and total access to the internet and they're both under the ages of 15. I want to protect them with my life, and they also play Roblox. They're already very gullible and secretive. They've both already been in a situation where they've talked to a mysterious person online, both of them, and it got dark very fast. I probably shouldn't talk about their situation on here since it's not my experience to tell and I don't want to embarrass them. Either way, I'm scared that they'll be introduced to content like that, and they'll experience something similar to me. It seems as though they've been exposed to something of that nature according to their experience that they've had, which I hope isn't the case.
I know this was a lot to read but I just wanted to say thank you for exposing these sick individuals and bringing awareness to this huge issue with Roblox. Addiction to content is a real thing and I guess I'm an example of how bad things can possibly get.
I had tears while watching this. No one I have watched in regards to this content has said the things that you say in this video. Sudden exposure to such content or intimacy at a young age really can mess up your mind. The damage can be irreversible or tough to fix. I am a grown up and I am just heartbroken. I don't want children to be exposed to this. I know what this type of addiction does to people. This makes you a shell of a person you are supposed to be, this causes most of your relations to fall apart, this completely damages you. Parents and grownups need to be understanding and help the younger ones who have already fallen into this deep dark pit. Please, protect your kids and if you failed, HELP THEM heal.

A few years ago I got exposed to a condo game by an online "friend" who told me it was a fun simulator game. I saw things that should never be seen and yet still roblox does nothing to stop this. It just shows that Roblox cares more about money then it's users.
My baby sister, who was 4 at the time, was playing a super inappropriate game. The only times i caught her were 2 times. Ive tried to set the age rating for my baby sister to "all", but that didnt work. It really is sad that theres nothing to do so we cant stop it.

ah, Imdownforanything11 reminds me of myself a year ago, I must say that roblox condos go down a massive rabbit hole and as me being apart of it at the age of 15 till mid year of being 16. I know the methods, scripts, I was even friends with a person with over 15k users in their server and man... I really wish I knew what I digging into until I realised the deep mess you can bring yourself upon, from 11 to 19 year olds interacting in sexual rp and mannners and even nudes which is pretty crazy but back then it felt the normal and its sickening but tbh when I eventually grow to have children, I'll know how to keep them away from this evil part of the internet also good video man!

I’m 15 (M) and I’m scared im also going down this path. Early last year I starting doing it and quickly got addicted. Now, I do it almost everyday, around 2-3 times.
I’ve been trying to quit but it’s super difficult. Everytime I think about it I almost cant function. Ever since I started, the longest I went without doing it was probably 4 days. Luckily, I’m not into little kids and avoid anything leaning to that. I’m into the standard stuff like big boobs, big butt, and thick thighs with the exception of futa. I think thats the only real fetish I have. But I’m worried I might start getting more and more desperate and slowly become one of these freaks if I don’t stop.
Another really bad thing is that I am an artist. A few months ago I started drawing it. My first attempt was alright ig but it definitely cemented the idea that I could draw it. Since then, I drew it from time to time and ended up slowly getting better at it. Honestly it really helped me with learning anatomy but I struggle with drawing anything other than porn because of my addiction. I’ve become scarily good at it and I do it to my drawings often.
Because of this, its so much harder to quit because I can draw porn that appeals to everything I like and I spend so much time and energy on those drawings that its hard for me to get the courage to delete them. I’ve drawn NSFW probably around 50 times, the last time being yesterday. I spent like 2 hours drawing it and then probably 6-7 hours doing it to the drawing and other NSFW even tho I need to work on my exams. I haven’t posted any of my drawings thankfully, but I put so much time and effort into them I have considered doing it. Doing NSFW has also affected my SFW art, everytime I start making the base of a drawing, sometimes I start drawing the character really busty and thick on instinct. I am really scared someone will discover I have been drawing it in real life and online. I actually have nightmares almost every night about my NSFW art being discovered.
People think quitting porn is like counting to 3. It’s not. Even if you don’t look at NSFW or dont go on porn websites you still find porn and things that make you want to look for porn on other websites like CZcams. For example, those meme channels that put cropped hentai as thumbnails, you find the sauce and the next 3 hours is gone. It is a plague and I am infected.
I don’t think Roblox really caused this to happen to me in any way but I have done it to quite a few r63 videos. Somedays its the only thing I do it to. Though i haven’t done that in a while. But Roblox’s inability to stop this can cause millions of kids like me to become porn addicts. I think the main reason for this is that there is no incentive for Roblox to stop it. If they start doing something about it, they most likely wouldn’t gain much profit from it, probably losing profit. If they address the problem publicly, then parents would take their kids who buy lots of robux off the app to protect them since they know the danger is there. They would also have to spend a lot more time and money on better moderation. So, unless something really crazy happens, nothing will be done about it. It’s the sad truth.
I know this is a lot of text but I really wanted to write this to rant about my problem because I have no one I can talk about this with. I also want to use this as a way to warn anyone like me to stop and stop anyone who is drawing NSFW as a minor.
TLDR: I am 15 and have been a porn addict for almost a year. I have started drawing NSFW and have become good enough at it that it has affected my regular art. I have been trying to quit but its almost impossible. Roblox isnt responsible for my addiction but is responsible for the addiction of thousands of other kids like me.
