If you like the spice then I think this will be right up your alley. Personally, I do like it but it is not amongst my favorite. Maybe that's because I generally prefer scotch. However, I definitely like it over the other Crown Royal whiskeys. And I do think it is nice to have in your collection for guests or just simply makes things up. Not sure what the prices were back then with all the hype but in 2021 it is extremely reasonable if not a very good value.
Canadians like their rye.
+Mick Biggins yeah, i don't get it either. I mean, its "OK" in a coke, but the best in the world??? No way.
according to the batch number shown, it's NOT the batch what was called the best whisky in the world.
It’s Rye... Rye whisky. The cheapest grain you can use to make whisky. It’s not all that.
Great. Now legalize weed so that I don't care about alcohol... $33? It's probably going to be $60 in Quebec.

Christine doesnt know what she's talking about... this is some good stuff!
She is right.
I bought some and I liked it but it was very strange for Jim Murray two of called it the best whiskey of the year. He must have somehow been lucky to get his hands on a special batch.
I tried it, not that impressed. Tastes like pears and bananas. Yuck
It's not as spicy as your normal rye, very mellow with butterscotch taste delicious and the best buy out there for the price.
