Being disrespected, ridiculed, and a punching bag to the media, not to mention having an incompetent and cancerous “head coach” that almost derailed his career. I was already a Alabama fan and Dolphins fan growing up. When Miami picked him up, I truly felt Miami was going to be special. I’m glad Miami got rid of Flores, no disrespect, but he was a cancer to Tua’s legacy. Have been a dolphins fan for 20 years and more importantly became a huge tua fan when he was in Alabama and was a dream come true when he came to Miami. I remember his name being called I was jumping up and down. This video I never thought I would cry watching something like this but watching someone live out there dreams with all the ups and downs and stay with there faith and stay strong to there families morals. He is 100 percent my favourite player in the nfl and there’s a reason every time I put my Miami dolphins jersey on his name is on the back. Phins up

I'm 32 years old and have lived in Alabama all of my life alongside loving the Dolphins since I was old enough to know what football was. It was the logo, the colors, the cool factor of Dan Marino.
Seeing him in that #13 jersey at Alabama it just felt like deep down he was going to be the one to turn this franchise around at last. Tua's presence brought Mike McDaniel and Tyreek Hill to Miami, forever changing the future and rescuing the team from irrelevancy.
