  • I install a NRC fender eliminator kit on my new KTM Duke 790. New rage cycles made a cool looking tail tidy kit that includes 2 LED bars and a plate bracket . It completely transforms the look of the bike and gives it an aggressive looking profile. I go through all the steps of installation and give a short initial review of the kit.
    The outcome is really nice. The video is based on the KTM Duke 790 but can be helpful to anyone installing NRC kits on any motorcycle.

    I just installed it. Def was a little tricky but as long as you take off the bottom plate of the blinkers, it fits perfectly. I love the look.

    We just installed this on my sons 890 Duke R. We had the same issue with the plate and discovered they installed the wrong plate on the 2 lights. All you need to do is switch the plate from the turn signal to the brake and it creates the perfect clearance for the install. Hope this helps if you still have the bike or anyone else having the same issue.

      I took the bottom plate off and put the bolts under it.. fit perfectly.

    I'm looking for a fender eliminator for my duke 790. Do you recommend this one with all the problems you had?
    I noticed those screws on top of the light, is there any way you installed it upside down?

      Christopher Wray all in all the outcome is very nice and I’m happy with the results. I tried all all options and I think I got it on the correct way. I recommend it- it looks great

    Have you had any issues with police over the tucked license plate mount? I'm trying to decide between the standard and tucked plate position for my bike and I'm worried that I'll get a ticket for it not being visible enough, but it looks way better IMO

      I just installed the same unit. It can be bent if needed. It comes with a license plate light which is law.

    You installed this wrong, I just got mine last week and the install was flawless. You have to take the white plastic plate off the bottom light in order to screw the whole bracket to the bike. You have yours up side down

      @@-Cold-World No he didn't. new rage is installing the wrong plates on each light assembly. Switch those and it corrects the issue he was having.

    I have the same tail tidy kit although whenever I use the signal an indicator message comes up on my dash, does this also happen with yours ?

    • @HOLYSHIFT
      @HOLYSHIFT  Před 4 lety +2

      587Media yes -same thing! It’s an easy fix - get from ktm dealer 2 resistors and install them just before the signal light bulb on each side. The issue is that the previous bulb was an old style incandescent light bulb and the new signal lights are LED and have less resistance than before so the computer thinks the bulb is burnt and show you that message
