  • Went for boat testing runs on the lower Verzasca.
My weight: 70 kg. My size 180 cm.
    Date: 05.April.2024
    Waterlevel: 20-30 cubics in Lavertezzo.
Spade Kayaks Joker: half-slice. Paddled it a bunch of times before. Very fun, versatile and fast, but more challenging to paddle.
Dragorossi DRS: creeker. Paddled it the second time. Very stable, continuous, fast and easy to paddle.
Prijon Beast: creeker. Paddled it the first time. The biggest of all 3. Very stable, continuous, fast and easy to paddle.

Sauber gefahren, top. Mit meinen 93kg/180cm würde der Joker zumindest auf dem Bach extrem sportlich:)

hi there, just trying to see footage of people in the prijon beast, any chance you can describe how it is to paddle and if you would recommend it or not?

Paddler Size: 70 kg to at least 100 kg (probably more?)
      REAR
The rear makes it skip as hell after landing boofs or even just get pressure on the tail.
      FRONT
The front has a lot of volume an feels a bit like the nose of a Steeze or Stoke.
      MATERIAL and Outfitting
The material is super solid and paddling the blown kayak feels different than a rotated one. The seat system is new and super light. I like the seat, but for my sense the knees are a bit too spreaded. I would make my kneepads more strong and bigger and put them a bit more together (I think the guys from Prijon are already working on a solution).
      EDGES
The edge is strongly visible from tail to the front and makes it really precise to paddle.
At my Size it doesn’t feel even a bit like a Slicey. For me it’s a fast and super fun Creeker that I would take on class 4 to 5. It’s hard to express all the characteristics in words and I wanna point up these words as my personal opinion. I really like paddling one boat for a while and getting comfortable with it, but I also like to switch boats frequently and find my new zone of comfort. So my recommendation: choose a couple of interesting looking boats on a section you are feeling comfortable, paddle it with your friends a bunch of times, talk about it, have fun and trust the feeling in your butt... ;)
