@@gutadin5 : I like it a little better than Glock. The ergonomics of the grip give you better leverage on the trigger and there doesn’t seem to be as much travel. I have a G17 so I can compare pretty much straight across.

This is the gun I carry everyday you cant beat the grip safety. Guns ready to fire soon as you pull it with no thinking about a safety. Yet there is a safety!! AMAZING oh and 19+1 cant beat it.

I want to buy one and shoot it I want this and the sub compact as well
I want to buy the xd 9 mod.2 the 4.0 service pistol with the grip zone and the sub compact with the grip zone and then I want the xdm 4.5 and the xdm sub compact pistol as well and I'm looking at the xds sub compact pistol
I own a lot of pistols from cheap tool box pieces for the truck to expensive match pieces and I'll tell you this,I prefer this xdm 9mm over any other 9mm I own and I own a lot of 9mms.thid and my 357 snw are my two go 2 pieces and I just love them.xdm is very very accurate,light,and it has the looks,never jams,and I've ran over 5,000 rounds through it and it was still running strong.i tend to keep them clean and oiled so my OCD wouldn't let me go any further then 5,000 lol
This is my first 9mm ever, I got it in 2016 and they have a small hole on top. I wonder if you can put an optic on it.

Just picked up one of these in FDE in the "package" deal with 5 mags, pistol soft case, larger hard case, poly holster and mag holder and two nylon mag pouches (which I didn't know were included). Excellent price from Academy Sports. Wanted one for years after shooting it and it making me look so good at the range. A few notes are mines slide lock lever is only on the left side and the writing on the grip is different now. Also I saw one of these in a video from 2011 and it had a fiber optic front sight back then but it was the long slide target model.
at least I know I aint the only one I couldn't pass up the deals considering they are 5sumn almost 600 I bought 2
Even better was I picked up the M&P 2.0 they had on sale and got $75 gift card, applied that to the XDM.@@thekidd2189

Just picked up the XDm 9mm 4.5 in fde at Academy. Has hard case, soft range bag, holster mag holder, 5 mags, back straps and all for $399! They must be discontinuing this model at that price.

guys how's the trigger pull of XDm compare to Glock?
I didn’t regret this gun. I ended up selling it because it didn’t fit my purpose. I got it for concealed carry, but due to my small stature, it printed like Kinkos. I loved the way it shot because it was a very close competitor to my glock 19, which I carry every day. Would highly recommend.
I was able to snag one of these but in the OSP variation (non-threaded version) for $424! Was a great deal. Awesome gun.

Save your money and get a 40 s&w unless your buying a few certain brands of ammo or reloading for 10mm then velocities are near identical.
