They did not "remake" The Hardcore Championship.
The Hardcore Championship actually meant something in the company when it existed.
The 24/7 belt is a watered down version that only consists of roll up's.
What made the Hardcore championship so special goes far beyond the 24/7 rule and before such a rule had even been placed on the belt.
Don't insult such a legendary championship by saying that kid friendly green sludge of a belt is in the same league as it cause it's far from it.

Yeah. Despite being in the company for only 3 years he did very well. Watch his work in ECW and WCW. WWE dropped the ball on Raven. If they played there cards right they could have had him feud with people like The Rock, The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin but Vince held a grudge basically because Raven took Shane (Vince's son) to bars. So in some of his matches you see him land in sewage, get thrown through glass, get thrown through a wall, fight on the street in January in a tank top and shorts and never let him get over on anyone. Eventually in June 2002 Raven was banished to WWE's C show, Heat. This saw him face people like Johnny Stamboli, Spike Dudley and Aaron Stevens who 12 years later became Damien Sandow. In December 2002 Raven was back on Raw because he beat Tommy Dreamer (the man who he lost to to get banished to Heat) Raven only appeared once on Raw after that in a match against Jeff Hardy to determine who would enter the Royal Rumble which Raven lost. About 1 day later he was released and was in TNA 48 hours later stealing the NWA title from Jeff Jarrett. He feuded with Jarrett and AJ Styles for about 2 years even having a short Tag Team run with Sabu in 2004. In 2004, 2005 and 2006 he competed in Moster Ball matches (Basically a Fatal 4-Way). In 2007 Raven took a hiatus from TNA later returning and leaving shortly after. In 2009 he returned to help Stevie Richards beat Abyss. In the following weeks they choked Mick Foley. In 2009 or 2010 Raven lost to... Jeff Hardy again which had him kayfabe fired from TNA and left the company. He is currently semi-retired and appeared in TNA earlier this year on January 4th. (Oof forgot to talk about ECW and WCW so here it goes). In ECW Raven was a new character after leaving the WWF/E. He left to pursue more wrestling opportunities. He feuded with people like Tommy Dreamer and Sandman. And became a 4 time ECW Tag Team Champion. He left for WCW in 1996. When Raven debuted in WCW he started a stable called The Flock (Ironic) There's even videos about it on CZcams titled Birth of The Flock 1-20. In 1998 after a losing streak Raven asked for his release from WCW which was granted. Raven left because he felt misused. He returned to ECW and helped Tommy Dreamer beat the Dudley Boy's who where leaving for WWE. They defended the titled in the following weeks against Public Enemy and Justin Credible and Lance Storm. They kept turning on each other in the matches which lead to there downfall. In 2000 Raven came back to the WWE to help Tazz beat Jerry ''The King'' Lawler in a strap match. Tazz and Raven teamed for about 4-9 months. After there break-up they had a mini feud. In 2001 when the Alliance angle came Raven became an aimless Mid-Carder teaming with Justin Credible. And well the rest I talked about above. Although you may never see this sense this comment is 1 year old there's a history for him. Also sense this isn't copy and paste can I get a reply. This took 30 minutes out of my day.
Raven was a beast back then. He could have done alot of good stuff.

@@anthonydeadman Yeah. They really did. I thought there would've been a lot more in 2001 because of house shows, it was around the entire year and Championships changed hands a lot during the Invasion storyline.

Great presentation. Though it always personally bugged me when someone uses pictures not from the time when the title was won. Like you had Undertaker from the early-mid 90’s and present day Goldust, Jericho, Bubba Ray Dudley etc.

They need to and let the guys and gals who are not on the card every night fight it out for the title. But hardcore title would be too violent and shitty wwe today. Plus most of the guys would probably be offended since,in 2019 everyone gets offended. No tough skin and that's what undertaker and stone cold said b4. I think this title would make some of these guys grow some balls. But if it was me I would bring it back and gave it to ambrose b4 he left and let him start it out.
