Emmet Stagg's death reported on RTÉ News (17th March 2024)

RTÉ News reports on the death of the former Labour Party TD for Kildare Emmet Stagg. Originally from Hollymount in County Mayo, Mr. Stagg was elected to Daíl Eireann in 1987 and remained a TD until he lost his seat at the 2016 general election. Stagg was the younger brother of Frank Stagg, a Provisional IRA member, who died in a British prison in 1976 at age 34 after 62 days on hunger strike.
