skin prices have always had a standard based on rarity, by removing this epic can basically name their price on any given skin.

I’m hate the removal of rarity. Epic said that they would improve the locker months ago, and never did that. There should not be changes if nobody asked for them
But it’s epic, if they want to turn this game into the meta verse they need to remove anything that’s just for br which is bullshit
They just lied to us when they said they were going to make improvements. Removing rarities is NOT an improvement, and it also does not adress any of the complaints we ALREADY HAD.

Man they did Sokka dirty, would've loved a skin of him and his boomerang as a weapon, couldve been a re-skin of the kenetic boomerang
Well, his sword would have made more sense for a pickaxe, even though he had his boomerang the whole time, but the sword only towards the end of the show. He could easily have the boomerang as backbling and the sword as the pickaxe.

I know a lot of people are talking about “No Sokka!” But I think hope isn’t lost. In TMNT, even after the turtles, we got so many other skins that came after. April, shredder, and splinter. There is a chance sokka can still come, and hopefully, maybe, uncle iroh
April was there the first day with all 4 turtles. Shredder and Splinter came later, however. That's 7 characters, and there is no reason Fortnite should not have at least 6 or also 7 characters from Avatar, considering there are even more than 7 prominent characters from the show. I would imagine they would add a main bad guy as well, either Azula or Ozai, as well as at least Sokka for another main 'good guy', hopefully Iroh as well.
Removing rarities is one of the worst updates Fortnite can do. It takes away the whole purpose of the game itself.
No rarities were kind of pointless at this point it was more of a legacy feature they kept around, it’s unnecessary unless for icon or collabs

@@notBrocker rarities mean nothing when it comes to skins except for when it comes to pricing, and even that isn’t super consistent since pricing can be all over the place at times, the next closest thing that could warrant having rarities on skins is to rank how the skins look, and that doesn’t matter either, since there’s plenty of great common skins that look better than legendaries plus that’s just up to personal preference. There’s no reason to have rarities attached to skins it complicates the locker system, they’re better off just being ordered alphabetically in a way that’s universal instead of being split into arbitrary categories that make it harder to navigate when finding skins

Epic always change things for pointless reasons like OG gold pump nerf 200 headshot damage to 185 now the UI I think epic has an employee on the board that’s low-key sabotaging the game on purpose

removing skin rarity is very questionable because almost every game nowadays has skin rarity and they would justify the price sometimes but could this mean they're trying to price some things higher than the 2000 we're used to? they've already started doing it with lego fortnite and rocket racing cosmetics so its very possible they're removing the rarity to start being able to charge us 3500 or 4000 just for skins or bundles now. OR... does it mean that they're planning to implement a store system where we can buy most of the item shop skins at any given point that could also justify removing cosmetic rarity
Fortnite is known for making dumbass unwanted changes , but I think this is just the dev build or something
Getting rid of rarity means skins that would sell for 1000 being epic can be sold at 1500 for ledgendary pricing for that extra 4-5 dollars per skin depending on where you live and what currency you use

Lego is the reason why rarities were removed. The minifigure version of skins never had a uncommon-Legendary rarity so epic decided to just remove all of those rarities on normal skins

If you want to get all the avatar skins you have to throw in the price of the battle pass and elements pass too, bringing that price up to a hefty 6950; or almost 70 USD

The problem with removing rarity from locker skins is prices because now some skins will all be random ranges in vbucks and it will be rather odd considering there is no rarity determening the price

Getting rid of the rarity system for skins just makes it so they can make any price whatever they want. 2000 vbucks is usually how much it costs for a legendary skin like goku, which has transformations/styles. Toph, Zuko, and Katara do not have transformations/styles or have anything that would justify being 2000.
Getting rid of rarities is one of the worst things they’ve done in this game. If they don’t bring them back in the next hot fix update Imma be pissed

I like that the all the elements have different abilities and all have their own unique strengths. Fire-bending is good for melee, water-bending is good for ranged attacks, air-bending is good for mobility and earth-bending is good for defense.

@@Bdot773 I’ll simply assume AANG is gonna be 1000,, but you’ll have to work for his second variant .. Team Avatar are probably REALLY ANTICIPATED and Legendary rarity was best suited. Goku should be 2000 no doubt.. other anime skins are simply considered Epic rarity cause it’s whatever’s.
I kinda like the new rarity thing, only problem is that Bolt is near the top of my locker, and Zenith and Zeus are at the very bottom.

The racing mode sometimes now has this glitch that's forcing players to leave the match early (Epic CANNOT take rank points away from people if they're forced to leave the race early due to glitches or cheaters)

I really like the green, blue and gold backgrounds. It gave it a cool visual/ aesthetic, I really do hope they bring it back.
I believe the rarity situation is because they want to sell more skins at higher prices. Without rarities they can just slap any price on any skin at this point

The new mythical look fun, but I’m not too big on cel shaded skins do I’ll probably skip the avatar skins.
I actually don't mind the removal of Cosmetic Rarities, in fact it hasn't made much sense to me since chapter 1. With a lot of cosmetics being released in the shop nowadays and more old/rare cosmetics coming back to the shop, I felt like the rarities didn't mean much anymore. I don't think having no tag is the solution though either, maybe replace the old Rarities with new Price Tags that say Clearance instead of Uncommon, Cheap instead of Rare, High Price instead of Epic, and Expensive/Fancy instead of Legendary.
Oh and any individual cosmetics priced more than 2,000 Vbucks could be tagged as Premium. For instance the individual cars that are really expensive like the McLaren or Lamborghini.

I kinda dig the mythics and shop timer (really helpful) but when epic says "improve" the locker, they usually mean "we're going to make more annoying and inconvenient for you so you hate us 👍" like epic just go back to the way it was
Rocket racing has bugs. I keep spawning half under the track and can't move my car off the start line. And have to back out and every time i back out I lose rank.
Aangs skin looks really weird too me, my favourite is definitely zukos looks the most like he they do it the shoe out of all of them

The item shop will still reset daily at its usual time, it’s just that now everything will display how long they will stay in the item shop for.

Earth bending looks like the best one
Honestly Epic should just revert the locker to pre-chapter 5. The layout is so cooked. I remember when presets were like 6 per row and now its 3 so you have to scroll for ages if you have a bunch
Also, suggestion, epic should change the emote wheel so you can have more than one preset wheel and not just the favorites wheel (where you can't choose where things go)
Katana being my favourite character but I gotta say the zuko skin looks the best and most accurate
I'm cool with them dropping the colors. I never understood them because the quality of all the skins are all over the place and a lot of the more basic ones are just more appealing. Might as well rank them all the same and make people take it less seriously.
