    This is my third tile saw from DEWALT but my first 36000. Unboxed it today on the job site and was sorely disappointed. The fence ran into the blade and there is no way to adjust it. DEWALT said I could bring it to the local tech to get it fixed which in my area means a two month or more wait time. The other option they gave me was to return it which means about a month until a new one can arrive here. For $1500 I want a tool that works right out of the box. I doubt I’ll buy DEWALT again as the last saw I bought from them was missing parts out of the box.
    Love your reviews as they show me exactly what I want to see.

    Excited to see this saw reviewed. Good to know they upped the power in the motor. Hope its not much heavier than the 24000. Also wanted to mention the J Blade from Detroit Industries. Don't know about there other stuff but another tile guy turned me onto the J blade and I love it. Its thin, cuts great, and is resistant to bending. I also like the Hot Dog Blade from MK, it's probably the fasted blade out there, but does bend out of shape more than I like.
    Great Video and thanks for showing us the new dewalt saw.

    love your content man, thanks for doing all of it. Off topic question for you. I took your advice and bought the porter cable saw with the green pearl 7 blade and it cuts very well. My problem is when I get to the last 3/4 of tile (porcelain, ceramic) it breaks off instead of cutting all the way through. Any idea how to remedy this problem? Is it me, the machine, the table, the blade, a combo? Thankfully I've been able to salvage whatever breaks off but my luck won't last I'm sure. Anyway thanks for everything you do! Cheers!

    @ThePieroChavez Pƙed 3 lety +2

    I hope it doesn't have the same deviation problem as the D24000. The D24000 table has three bearings. As you advance the table, the table suddenly deflects when the first pair of rollers becomes unsupported. IT CANNOT BE CORRECTED OR COVERED BY WARRANTY, BECAUSE THAT'S THE WAY IT WORKS. I prefer my Rubi tile cutter by far!

  • @danallen1828
    @danallen1828 Pƙed 4 lety

    So I gotta ask, what's your take on bridge saws? Rubi has had a 60" bridge saw did a few years now (given though it is close to double the cost) Are you just not a fan of the style of saws, or are they not prevalent or common in your area? (Our here in SoCal its few and far between to find a tile setter who carries a snap cutter, unfortunately, though I'm trying to change that!

    YOU SHOULD HAVE ASSEMBLED THIS SAW PRIOR TO YOUR DEMONSTRATION! YOU LEFT OUT SO MUCH (LITTLE STUFF) . WOULD HAVE LIKED TO SEE YOU SLOWELY SHOW THE ASSEMBLY OF THE WATER TRAYS. THE SIDE ALUMINUM SMALL SIDE BED NEEDS TO BE INSTALLED BEFORE THE DRIP TRAY AS THE THUMB SCREW IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO SCREW in WITH THE WATER DRIP TRAY INSTALLED! you assume way to much of the novice to assemble this saw and drip tray system
