Shit this prices are sickly low, I am literally jealous because in Poland for 2000 you can rent merely bachelor flat and medium quality and usually you have to pay for water, gas etc, brooo you made me realize that Thailand is indeed cheap

$2,k not unreasonable if you so desire. No criticism. In most places in the world you'd pay $10, or more, but for me the 1st place would be a great place to hang my hat for 6 months while leisurely scoping out THE place. We all have our version of "THE" place. One man's ceiling is another man's floor. I like having pocket $ as opposed to higher rent. Pension & SS. Life ain't bad in Thailand for retired Americans.

The west is fucked and will be for a while. Most average guys in the UK are going to be broke and miserable. When I say that I really mean guys who are doing about average in terms of income are going to be seriously broke.
Solution: Learn a high income skill that can be done remotely and move out to South East Asia or South America. Earn in GBP or USD and spend in your local currency. The name for the is 'Geo-Arbitrate'.
