Agreed. They need to take like a 6 year hiatus from putting out a game and just work on the MLB the show 30 game in that time period. Changing everything. Of course they won’t do this bc mlb the show is SDS bread and butter and even though if they do it, mlb the show 30, would sell more than 21-24 combined. Making their money back and than some.
Go back and watch mlb 15 gameplay on youtube the game is doesnt look the same you just find any way to complain

The player or the family has to give permission if the number is retired so I'm sure they did.

Animations, graphics, voice lines, have been literally the same since MLB the show ‘10, since i can remember that was my 1st the show game. Every year since it has only been updated rosters and maybe a new game mode, but when are we going to get a new engine for this game! Its due, make this the last one please.
You’re kidding right? mlb 10 to even mlb 17 is completely different the hitting is totally different commentators are different and even the graphics are way sharper and more realistic how you gonna hate when you clearly havent gone back and compared

Stay with 23 and download the 2024 rosters. It’s not worth 70. Get it on sale. Go against your will. If not the game won’t improve if people keep buying them at full price even with minimal improvement.
I think that a game that comes out year after year will never improve 360 degrees, rather they are small details and new things on which they are built and that is what I see this year in terms of cinematics, if details are allowed to be seen in these first days, we will see what but the next few days
