- Ron's family created this tribute for him. Though Ron wasn't exactly sure what direction we had planned for the music video (and wouldn't have wanted the focus on him) we felt it was definitely appropriate and Christ-honoring.

The ministry of Ron and Shelly has touched my life in so many ways. I came to trust Jesus Christ as my Savior after listening to a Patch the Pirate adventure and the music has been such a source of encouragement in my life ever since. Thank you, Patch the Pirate, I saw Jesus in you.
Beautiful song and it made me cry as I can relate. My father passed away in 2017 at age 89. I thank God every day for the wonderful man He chose to be my earthly father.
I miss him so much and can't wait to see him again.

Patch the Pirate has been part of my life as far back as I can remember. My church had Patch the Pirate Club back when we wore pirate rags on our heads and sashes over our shoulders! I had the privilege of being in choir under Ron's directing during my college years. Now my children listen to and love the Patch stories. I'm so thankful for the testimony and life lessons Ron and his family have demonstrated. God bless. You are in my prayers.
Can't watch this without bawling. Bittersweet. Love you Ron and Shelly! You've been musical and spiritual mentors for me. Something I never had growing up. You made the Bible real, relatable, personal for me. You showed me how simple it is. There is no good way to say thank you. You guys will forever mean the world to me. We LOVE "Patch" and will always very fondly remember Ron Hamilton. His ministry definitely led "kids" to Christ and maybe even a grown up kid or two !!!

My grandmother was buried February 2020. This was one of her most favorite songs. The day of the funeral service, all of her grandchildren, including me, sung this song in honor of her life as a missionary. This song holds a special place in our hearts; and now i can't seem too sing or listen to it now without getting a little emotional. Thank you Ron Hamilton, for creating this beautiful song that has given many people a special memory. I can't wait for the day i get too see my grandma again and tell that i saw Jesus in her.
I am so thankful for this song. When my great grandmother died at the age of 92, my sister and I were asked to sing at the funeral. We knew just the song we needed to sing. This song was the first thing that came to our minds. This song was a blessing to so many at her funeral.

As I watched this Video the tears came streaming down my face😞 I can’t understand How all this can be. To watch Faithful Servants of the Holy One who gave their Lives from their hearts to serve the Lord so faithfully and have impacted So many Lives for the Glory of Christ and the Kingdom of God. And to watch them slowly Dwindle away like this Faithful Servant of God did. My wife and I watched his Life Slowly Slip away. In such a way I just couldn’t understand myself. I know Brother Ron is in the Glories of the Presence of the Lord. But to watch how he left this world after given and doing So much for the Kingdom was To find the right words Perplexing to my Soul. I’m grateful I Truly saw Jesus in the Servant of God and God has touched my heart and His Testimony he Left behind still Touches my heart and Encourages me to Stay the Course and Finish My Race with Joy! I love Patch the Pirate. My mom would always put the CD on while I was in bed. My favorite was the jungle one. I cant wait to let my girls listen to them when they get older. Thank you for letting God use you in such an incredible way.

I met him at a majesty music seminar in Chicago. I attended classes with Shelly, and the highlight of the conference was singing in a choir directed by him. It is an experience I’ll never forget.

I grew up listening to Patch the Pirate / Ron Hamilton and still know every word to his songs. I have a baby boy now and will raise him listening to the same songs that teach salvation and Christian values. I'm so glad Majesty Music is posting his music and videos. Thank you!
I remember listening to Patch the Pirate as a young child and loving the stories. I still love listening to them to this day. I strongly believe that listening to Patch the Pirate (specifically Patch Goes to the Jungle) was a strong part in my surrendering to God’s call into full-time Christian service. I didn’t realize it until just a few months ago when I listened to the chorus of “Here Am I, Lord” from the CD.
I thank God for the twenty six years He gave me with my late father. I truly saw Jesus in him as he lived every day for Christ teaching his children and his grandchildren about Jesus and prayed we would have a real personal relationship with Christ. I love you daddy and miss your loving voice

So I can't say Mr. Hamilton and I knew each other; but growing up with his music and adventures I felt I knew him just a little bit. As an adult I had the opportunity to meet him once and my perception of him didn't change. He was gentle. Probably a better Christian, husband, father and music writer than many realize. I imagine the loving reception he had when he entered God's presence was something even he may not have envisioned. God rewards his faithful servants. Mr. Ron Hamilton was just that. Praise the Lord for the life led by Patch the Pirate.

I love this tribute to Ron Hamilton. I was saved at the age of 23, then 13 mos later our 1st daughter was born. When she was 3 , Patch the Pirate came to our church & we loved the music & bought the 1st 10 pack case of cassette tapes. I'm showing my age as this was in 1990. I loved the adventures & songs as much as she did & grew in my faith. The last adventure we bought was 2003, still on cassette.😂 Now I listen to the tapes w/ my Grandson, thanks to your ministry to "kids" of all ages. ♡ the Hamilton family, thankful for Megan & Tara & their husbands & Jason continuing this family ministry, needful in these days!

I couldn't stop crying through this! Ron and his family have been part of our lives since the earliest years. My children grew up listening to every Patch adventure that came out, and our family loved all of the other Majesty Music songs as well. We have all been so blessed by this ministry, and have been praying, and hurting, and glorifying God along with them as they have faced every trial with God's grace and courage. We are so thankful that, through his family, Ron's legacy to Rejoice in the Lord will continue. Truly, Ron, we saw Jesus in you and we love you for it!

Today, I almost lost the Man that means the most to me. My Father was in a Rollover car accident on his way to work early this morning. I can't, and won't stop praising God for sparring his life. It reminds me to value EVERY minute I have with him. Thank you God. THANK YOU!!!
