The peruvian maestros Dengue Dengue Dengue! present a highly energetic broken beat rework of “Nineoneone” with a tropical twist. Nerk, musician and co-founder of Berlin’s supergroup Toktok delivers a brilliantly crafted uptempo electro dub version of „Yamahaica".

Dengue Dengue Dengue! is a musical duo of electronic music from Peru established in Lima, made up of Rafael Pereira and Felipe Salmon. The highly contagious duo have brought a new level of tropical madness to the cumbia world, fusing modern production savvy with traditional rhythms. Their early tracks caught the ears of bloggers and DJs around the world but it wasn’t until their 2012 debut album, La Alianza Profana, that they really received worldwide recognition. Together with the Auxiliar Collective, they have cornered the market in neon tropical bass exports.
Nerk, aka Benjamin Weiss, a member of the legendary Berlin rave act Tok Tok has a long, extensive history in the techno community. As well as a writer for formerly leading German music magazine De:Bug, he has a long recording history collaborating with Dirk Leyers on Kompakt, Klang, V-Records and many remixes to his credit.
