i’ve never heard this song in my life, yet it made me tear up the first time i heard it. listening to it makes me feel like everythings gonna be alright, it makes me feel like all the hardships i’ve been through, all the shit i’ve taken from everyone, is not in vain. i fought for myself through all that bullshit for a reason, i just need to find out what my reason is. Thank you for making such a masterpiece. I will be enjoying this for the years to come.

I’ve been in a long distance relationship with my girlfriend for 5 years. The day we can finally move in together is drawing closer and closer but until then the time we get to spend together in-person is few and far between. Last weekend I went out to her place for spring break. Tonight was the last night we got to spend together. Everything felt fine, but then this song came on while she and I were on the couch just trying to enjoy our time together and at that moment something inside me just broke into pieces. I started crying and telling her how much I didn’t want to go back home. The last week has been so special but it feels like it’s just started and it’s already ending.
I can’t wait to be done with this long distance stuff. Living like this isn’t really living. Home doesn’t feel like home without her around. And after tonight, that’s what this song means to me. It means that touch is precious, and it’s something we all need, desperately.
