Exactly. I absolutely admire subliminal messaging in film and novel. Making something represent a feeling or a prtson represents a presence as if the person is not there and acts like the feeling. Which might not make sense unless you know what I mean. The dog here represents the teamwork of mankind and the loyalty of a friend such as company, make you feel more comfortable alone witha dog rather than no dog. Take I am legend for example, *SPOILERS*... when the dog dies, will smiths character has lost the company and loyalty of a friend. Showing how he is slowly losing control of his mind. Also, in Lord of the Files novel. Piggy (one of the characters) represents civilisation and *SPOILERS* when he dies, the sense of getting rescued anspd civilisation is lost.
08pixiedust And of course the character that (in the book) tries to rape her and then shoots her in the leg so she can't run away is played by a black guy even though there is no mention of race in the book.
+AgentWashingtub - Oh, that's charming. Nothing like adding unnecessary racial conflict to the end of the world. (I thought this was like a middle-school book. I guess not!)
08pixiedust He's a scientist who was in a bunker when shit went down with his best friend who he shot for trying to leave, then went crazy from being alone. He wanted to repopulate the world with her and thought rape was the best way.
stokes288 sci-fi doesnt mean just lasers and spaceships, its about experimental and unproven scientific theories, so anything post-apocalyptic can be sci-fi really.
stokes288 Maybe there is sci-fi in it that they didn't reveal in the trailer. It's not likely but possible. Personally I hate when they reveal everything or the best stuff in the trailer.
+Babyface6200 and no matter what happens, Kirk will always screw the girl then lose all interest and run to the next damsel in distress....the player knows his game and been doing it since 1966 :-P
Well there goes another one of my favourite movies ruined. THERE IS ONLY ONE GUY IN THE BOOK AND HIS NAME IS MR LOOMIS. Hollywood, you've got stuck way too far up your own asses with this one. Thanks a lot.
Premortemix Cryogenika I was asking myself, did anyone involved in the making of this film read the book? This isn't a departure for the sake of making a movie. This is a bastardization of a great piece of modern literature.
3091181 well said - i never read the book by I don't understand why Hollywood makes it seam like their job is hard - it's honestly an insult to the intended audience. Hey im Hollywood.. qq we have endless resources and money coming out of every orifices but making a movie is sooooo hard #tears of a victim. Why can't they just take a book and actually stay true to what was written.
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 I just quickly read the book summary..and it so different from the trailer of the movie version..that the movie version is almost laughable. I might watch this version..but i think im just going to read the book. This looks like a love triangle bs...which i hate. lol.
ALEXANDROS GEORGIOU ***SPOILER ALERT*** He wasn't even black in the book, but okay... Mr. Loomis (the man) attacked her in the middle of the night and so she ran away and in the process she had to kill her dog... :)
John did not killed Caleb, he saved him once and save him again when Caleb tried to fall on purpose. He wanted to test how good John was, Caleb did a creepy smirk the second time John was trying to pull him and that means that he understand that John was trustworthy and more deserving than himself. They both moved the piano then Caleb left, he left because John convinced him that he wasn't good for Ann. John was heartbroken after Ann went out to find Caleb so he went to the fountain then jumped. Ann saw him and was sad from what happened (she pushed the glass from the table part). Last part was John's soul watching Ann playing the piano. John looked happy, Caleb unknown, Ann lonely for being alone again. This is how I see what happened.
Even when watching her in "Wolf Of Wall Street", I could see there was potential in Robbie. So, after watching this I'm not so much surprised and glad she played a more complex role. She's good here.
I read this book in grade 5 and I loved it. When I heard there was a movie I was excited, till I found that they changed the entire plot of the movie :'(
Ezekiel Koroisau This is nothing like the book tho, they ruined the story, in the book there is the girl, and only one man finds her... there is never a second man
Ethan Plemmons That's right! But if I also remember the story, there was a second man that survived in the fallout shelter, but he was shot and killed by the guy that finds the valley. The girl finds this out when she sees the patched up bullet holes in his radiation suit...
Agreed. Loved this book. I found it to be a really unique, but adapting it like this turns it into some cheap Hollywood drama/love story and completely ruins it. It's about a girl (16 years old) who is surviving in a world that's been destroyed by nuclear war. The dynamic between the two characters and Anne's struggle against Loomis (who she helps nurse back to health, but who turns out to be a dangerous intruder) was really interesting , but it's not anything like a lovestory. Totally not what the book was about.
yeah, so i read this book in 2004 in the 8th grade, barely remember the details other than there is a teenager with a dog, living in a valley that was shielded from a catastrophic event, but i don't think i remember there being a love triangle
Damn. At first I thought Margot Robbie was just one of those actresses who only sells cos of her looks, but I've recently stumbled upon a bunch of trailers and movies of hers, and I gotta say, the girl's got talent. Especially amazed on how many accents she can pull off (so far I've seen her done Boston,Australian,English,American, and now this). I'm excited to see more of her works
skeaneable Whaaaat? Of course there's some double penetration. They don't call her margot "dp" robbie for nothing. I'm a simple man and I think that a lil DP is a reasonable thing to expect
Man, I was stoked when I saw the title, but then I watched the trailer. There are loose adaptations, and then there's *this*, which bears almost zero resemblance to the source material. Why bother calling it Z for Zachariah? The book was haunting, and seriously creepy in a completely mundane way; this just looks like Hollywood love-triangle garbage. Bleh.
So I just watched this movie and after reading TONS of discussions on the ending (which have a lot of different theories), I've decided this what I think happened.. I do not think John killed Caleb. First off, he saved him twice. Second, Caleb falling would of completely ruined the wheel and everything they built. I think Caleb walked. Ann pushing the glass off the table represents something, and people think it represents Caleb's death, but I think it represents John's suicide. After Caleb walks, he turns the generator on and there's the scene where Ann opens the fridge to find it working, he then goes over to the church and walks past the organ (which is moved to the barn). So with these 2 little things, I feel he's kinda "finished business" for Ann then jumps. The scene in the barn is him in spirit. But what I don't understand is why he would want to die... I haven't read the book though so people who have read the book may have different theories.
+TheTamEra06 He wants to die because he knows he's lost his one & only true love, I thought that was obvious. Thanks so much for explanation, the most interesting and accurate I've read & it ties up all the lose ends. P.s Here's something else to add to the plot which I was wondering; Anne & Caleb had unprotected sex, maybe she was pregnant? The film showed no signs of it, but it's an interesting possibility to add to the equation.
+Josh James I never thought of that. Another theory people have said is that maybe the movie happens before the book? Maybe she's sad at the end of the movie because she's knows what's coming, and in the book there are only 2 people. He is also a lot more violent towards her. I definitely like a movie that makes you think!
elijor says different in a interview check it out. and he doesn't completely save Caleb the second time Caleb was still hanging off the edge. the conversation John claims him and Caleb has before Caleb allegedly leaves didnt even sound right and he couldn't even look Anne in the eye telling it, and it contradicts Caleb saying there was nothing in Anson in the previous scene. think about it why would Caleb risk traveling without food, water, protection or any of his clothes? also Anne ran after him and looked over the valley and Caleb was nowhere in sight.
I think he did let him fall why was the other dude standing by the ledge when the wheel was done he probably felt the guilt from killing her brother n from killing the guy it look like he wanted to commit suicide
I was watching Jurrasic World in the town that you see in the first 22 seconds of the trailer. This trailer came up and it tripped me out because I could literally walk out of the theater to those places.
+Vaidas Maldzius He absolutely did kill him. This is made incredibly obvious by the conversation the two have before they finish the water wheel. Loomis says to Caleb that he was never a threat to him while Caleb laughs in his face knowing he's incredibly jealous and lying. Loomis then asks Caleb about that city he was talking about heading to (sorry can't remember the name) and Caleb says that there's probably nothing there anyway and from this Loomis realizes that Caleb isn't going anywhere and the only way to get rid of him is murder.
This makes me think of that 1959 film starring Harry Belafonte and Mel Ferrer and Inger Stevens as the last three people on earth: "THE WORLD, THE FLESH AND THE DEVIL." Looks interesting.
THANK GOD the only two guys this girl comes across are super HOT. Like, can you imagine that girl seeing a gross looking guy bathing in toxic water outside and inviting him to her house? Um, doubt it. Haha But, on a serious note... Chiwetel Ejiofor and Chris Pine are brilliant and this film actually looks really good.
lmao xD so true every...i find it funny how i haven't seen margot robbie in any movie where there isnt some sort of sexual intension like pam ham eh but the moves either have her have sex or be wanted (for example about time) all expect the big short where she is still fucking naked and telling me shit about finance and the propety market which made me actually listen .....wish she was my math teacher
i now appreciate being forced to read the book in the 8th grade wasnt a bad on either i liked the whole nuclear apocolypse the thing that creeped me out was the dude on the radio that was still alive but became less active day by day and how her family came back once and went out again only to never return
SPOILER ALERT Caleb left Ann and I'm not sure if Loomis and Ann ended up together. But, it seems like it. This is the most interesting and also the most disappointing movie ever. I was expecting Chris Pine would be Ann's ever after. But, no. 😭😭😭😭
spoiler Caleb didn't leave John kills him Elijor confirms in a interview. the interviewer asks does john drop Caleb and he responds "I think he does" the interviewer then asks if Anne suspects something was up. I can post it here if anyone is interested
+Nandira Shafira time.com/4011974/chiwetel-ejiofor-z-for-zachariah/ here it goes. He even say maybe him and Anne could work it out, or maybe Anne would eventually drive him off the farm; I think that's a clear indication that mr loomis is deeply flawed, and Anne could realize this and grow tired of him. Let's not forget mr loomis murderous past, he has a dark, insecure, controlling, violent side. It's very clear when you ask yourself why would Caleb just leave? No food, no water, no protection, no clothes like that's easy to come by in a radioactive environment. The look on mr loomis face at the end isn't heartbreak, but guilt. I find it odd he contemplates suicide the exact and final way we see Caleb in.
DoomDash yeah...this is a total rewrite of the original book, there is however a TV version of this from at least 25 years ago, which i remember reviewing in my English class back then (about all i can remember from back then...lol)
kevin burton I remember watching this for some lesson (which could well have been English) back in the 80`s as well. It was quite dark and only had one man in it, who got a bit rapey if i recall. This version looks like a poor imitation tbh. EDIT: It was english, we had to read the book as well.
DoomDash yeah, definitely only one man in the book who did try to rape her. I read the book over 20+ years ago but that is how it goes, as I recall. I should reread it.
Man, i loved this book as a kid. I grabbed it randomly because i liked its cover. So weird that it is going to be a movie. Maybe they will turn Children of the Dust into a movie next.
We have a verdict, Your Honor. The film played in a few theaters, was available on demand . . . . . . and brought in $121, 461.00. That's 121 thousand dollars, not million. Yep, it's all about star power bringing the crowds in.
These end of the world movies are unrealistic as shit. If there are no rules and no consequences, best believe that a hot woman like this is gonna get fucked.
+IronRooRoo Clarification: with enough methods of self defense, SHE decides who gets to do the fucking, if anyone. I'm not familiar with this story (book or movie), but in the real world, if she's got the weapons she needs, she just might not be worth the rapists' trouble.
I was born in the town that is in the opening shots of the trailer. That's Welch West Virginia. I regret to inform everyone that that is actually what it looks like now since the mining industry has tanked. They've had to do little to no work to make it look like a post apocalyptic wasteland. That's depressing :-( Oh yea... the movie looks like shit.
I read this book about 20 years ago in grade school...surprised it took them this long to make a movie out of it..always thought it had a good "book to movie" plot.
"Oh cool a dystopian film with a POC love intere-" *white guy walks in* uhhhh *white guy and white girl make 'sexy' eye contact* UGGHH Jesus Christ here we go again
Even when the world ends, there's no escaping the friendzone.
theres no escapping margot robbie
oolong2
lol
Lmao
Lolz.
😂😂
The dog better not die...
My body is ready
BENTLEYQUAMP The answer would appear to be "yes"
Ross whitby Agreed :)

Ross whitby Sorry to say but it probably will I know Im sad too
There's only one guy in the book. Adding a second changes the whole story.
AgentWashingtub Yeah, why bother calling it Z for Zachariah? Now it's just a silly love-triangle story.
+AgentWashingtub - Interesting. I haven't read the book, but you're right--that's a pretty major change, and I'm typically not a love triangle fan.

1) margot robbie is the queen of accents, 2) how is this sci-fi
stokes288 sci-fi doesnt mean just lasers and spaceships, its about experimental and unproven scientific theories, so anything post-apocalyptic can be sci-fi really.
She is really great at accents. I wanna hear her as a Jamaican now.
stokes288 She's beautiful AND talented.
stokes288 Maybe there is sci-fi in it that they didn't reveal in the trailer. It's not likely but possible. Personally I hate when they reveal everything or the best stuff in the trailer.
stokes288 Its not sci fi its a love triangle based in a post apocalyptic setting so that extreme decisions seem less unrealistic
So Harley Quinn, Solomon North, and Captain Kirk are the last people on Earth?
+Babyface6200 and no matter what happens, Kirk will always screw the girl then lose all interest and run to the next damsel in distress....the player knows his game and been doing it since 1966 :-P
+Babyface6200 actually not captain kirk but steve trevor
are you fucking serious, no fucking shit, its a joke
im talking about what you said "no its just the same actors." Which is not a dumb joke, its fucking a fucking terrible joke
True. So is Harley Quinn, Solomon North, and Steve Trevor
Well there goes another one of my favourite movies ruined. THERE IS ONLY ONE GUY IN THE BOOK AND HIS NAME IS MR LOOMIS. Hollywood, you've got stuck way too far up your own asses with this one. Thanks a lot.
Premortemix Cryogenika *sighs* Hollywood ruins all amazing books
Premortemix Cryogenika i was thinking the same thing.....
Premortemix Cryogenika I was asking myself, did anyone involved in the making of this film read the book? This isn't a departure for the sake of making a movie. This is a bastardization of a great piece of modern literature.

Isaiah Smith what book was it ?
So this movie is about a white guy stealing a girl from the black guy.
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 I just quickly read the book summary..and it so different from the trailer of the movie version..that the movie version is almost laughable. I might watch this version..but i think im just going to read the book. This looks like a love triangle bs...which i hate. lol.
Yeah I'm not surprised that the book is better haha
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 so true bro....no batter way to say it...
This is definitely fiction.
unless that is the last man on the earth...
I read this book when i was a kid, the love triangle thing seems unnecessary, it was already cool.
nab3042 I know what you mean. I was disappointed as soon as the third person arrived. Why do they have to go and bastardise the classics like that?
nab3042 what is the name of the book?
ALEXANDROS GEORGIOU ***SPOILER ALERT*** He wasn't even black in the book, but okay... Mr. Loomis (the man) attacked her in the middle of the night and so she ran away and in the process she had to kill her dog... :)
+nab3042 After the first act, give or take, the film goes on to tell a different story. Haven't read the book, but i rellay enjoyed this.
The love triangle was the only thing that made this otherwise boring and pointless shit worth a watch.
I swear to god if the dog dies, shit's gonna get real.
it does
it doesn’t die! he just vannishe
A movie you know is good, but you don't wanna see....
same
It was very good!
U read my mind bro!
yep same here
Why don't everyone in the comments want to see it, I don't get it
John did not killed Caleb, he saved him once and save him again when Caleb tried to fall on purpose. Chris Pine is such a good actor! Very underrated
I trust aliens
I read this book in grade 5 and I loved it. When I heard there was a movie I was excited, till I found that they changed the entire plot of the movie :'(
Adam, Eve and Steve!
This should be interesting. Wish Lilith was here too.
😂😉😉😉
Ezekiel Koroisau This is nothing like the book tho, they ruined the story, in the book there is the girl, and only one man finds her... there is never a second man
Ethan Plemmons That's right! But if I also remember the story, there was a second man that survived in the fallout shelter, but he was shot and killed by the guy that finds the valley. The girl finds this out when she sees the patched up bullet holes in his radiation suit...
Ezekiel Koroisau That would make a great title for hilarious dark comedy version of this movie.
+Ezekiel Koroisau why steve tho why that name?
+jeffhardy777777 rhymes with eve
I think this is one of the best post-apocalyptic films ever made. Of all the ones I've seen, this one feels the most real.
What? I've been waiting for a movie of Z for Zachariah and then they add a second man into the mix? I wanted them to stick to the plot.
Since when has Hollywood stuck to the plot of a book?
Army c:
Agreed. Loved this book. I found it to be a really unique, but adapting it like this turns it into some cheap Hollywood drama/love story and completely ruins it. It's about a girl (16 years old) who is surviving in a world that's been destroyed by nuclear war. yeah, so i read this book in 2004 in the 8th grade, barely remember the details other than there is a teenager with a dog, living in a valley that was shielded from a catastrophic event, but i don't think i remember there being a love triangle
+Dragondude2525 I read this in... 2011 and no there isn't. They added that in and since the author died before the book was released... Yeah.
how does it end
Kyana Alexiss the movie or the book?
I read this in the 8th grade as well - back in the 70s!!!!
So I can't remember a damn thing about it! But I'm sure Hollywood will fuck it up grandly.
Jon Dunmore well its already been fucked up, was released last year
Well that's another classic young adult story ruined by Hollywood.
This the first time I see Chiwetel Ejiofor, and he's amazing.
It seems that even after the end of the world, the possibilities for dp are endless.
Margot Robbie and Chris Pine, God please give me a break!.
So much beauty! love this two.
Damn. At first I thought Margot Robbie was just one of those actresses who only sells cos of her looks, but I've recently stumbled upon a bunch of trailers and movies of hers, and I gotta say, the girl's got talent. we all know how the rated-x version plays out....
TheWholeSystemisFckd no Double Penetration
+TheWholeSystemisFckd x-rated the porn parody is gonna come out very very soon courtesy of Digital Playground
+Star-Lord we'll call it "D's for mariah."
skeaneable Whaaaat? Of course there's some double penetration. They don't call her margot "dp" robbie for nothing. I'm a simple man and I think that a lil DP is a reasonable thing to expect
***** And they all lived happily ever after. That's a Disney ending if I've ever heard one
Looks great. I love these apocalyptic movies with only a few characters. Could be awesome!
+NOCTURNUS FILM you should check out the film pontypool, very good film.
Margo is incredible one of the most talented actress in the last five years. Looks like a great movie. I don't get the Sci-fi either. Suspense yes.
50-shades-of-abuse Annastasia don’t bother it total crap 💩
So good on many levels ... just when you think the post apocalyptic genre is dead.
Bleh.
non of their names were zachariah
wonder if they ate the dog seem to disappeared halfway in the movie
I do not understand what this movie is supposed to be about but does it matter? Margot Robbie is in it. 😍😍😍
in the book its about a black guy thats find a girl and then some dude is also alive and tryes to rape her in the movies its a love triangle
Shouldn't of read the comments -_- no way I'm watching this anytime soon . . . . . or ever . . . .
Great, great stuff. Thanks for making that happen. This shows some great community-minded marketing.
Good trailer, saves me a trip to the theater
... and Chiwetel Ejiofor!
I think they utterly missed the key themes and tragedy core to the book.
I love these kinds of movies
Is it just me or do Margot Robbie and Jaime Pressly look very much alike and have the same voice?

So its not a sequel for "V for Vendetta"?
Disappoint.
underrated films ... gotta watch it!!
I was watching Jurrasic World in the town that you see in the first 22 seconds of the trailer.
This trailer came up and it tripped me out because I could literally walk out of the theater to those places.
i clicked because i saw my name .
it started great! but ends with the love triangle? jealousy? really? but still curious!
Good movie. And Margot is soooooooo sweet, so cute, so touching !!!!
So, so different from the book, still want to watch it
I don't get it..! wtf was sci-fi about this movie?
The whole end of the world thing, technically it's in the future
put a spoiler notice next thanks.
0:21 Nope. No spoiler...
The fact that Margot Robbie is genetic perfection.
this movie pissed me off! No resolution! I hate movies that don't provide resolution!
I've read this book such a long time ago. Finally they make it a movie.
Margot is killing it.
Spoiler alert!
You think he killed him, let him fell? It was looking guilty to my.
+Vaidas Maldzius He absolutely did kill him. This is made incredibly obvious by the conversation the two have before they finish the water wheel.
Loomis says to Caleb that he was never a threat to him while Caleb
laughs in his face knowing he's incredibly jealous and lying. Loomis
then asks Caleb about that city he was talking about heading to (sorry
can't remember the name) and Caleb says that there's probably nothing
there anyway and from this Loomis realizes that Caleb isn't going
anywhere and the only way to get rid of him is murder.
+muccmaster great explanation
That cleared things up. cheers man.
+muccmaster I agree great explanation
aint no way that white dude would leave that good thang why didnt they just resolve the damn thing two thumbs down just for the freakin ending.
Margot looks like Jaimie Pressly ( the Blonde out of My name is earl)
both are hot!
I thought it was just me,but Margot and Jaimie look like clones.
Michael Mallory yes they look alike very much so
Margot is really good with accents!
Like, can you imagine that girl seeing a gross looking guy bathing in toxic water outside and inviting him to her house? soooo what was the purpose of the movie? It was good and all but what was its purpose
lmao xD so true every...i find it funny how i haven't seen margot robbie in any movie where there isnt some sort of sexual intension like pam ham eh but the moves either have her have sex or be wanted (for example about time) all expect the big short where she is still fucking naked and telling me shit about finance and the propety market which made me actually listen .....wish she was my math teacher
Lol this just shows u if u dont jump on that first some one else will facts
Omg I read this book!!!! And now I'm obsessed with Margot I need to see it
i now appreciate being forced to read the book in the 8th grade wasnt a bad on either i liked the whole nuclear apocolypse the thing that creeped me out was the dude on the radio that was still alive but became less active day by day and how her family came back once and went out again only to never return

+Angeli Demata Honestly, I'm glad that didn't happen. I love a good subversion in films, and this one made me happy.
spoiler
Caleb didn't leave John kills him Elijor confirms in a interview. the interviewer asks does john drop Caleb and he responds "I think he does" the interviewer then asks if Anne suspects something was up. I can post it here if anyone is interested
SugaFree Siena i'm interesting
+Nandira Shafira if you can't click on it from here, just type in z for Zachariah time magazine on Google.
IIRC there are not two different men in the book?
The book was amazing 🌴
There was V for Vendetta, then we have Z for Zachariah. Next is what? A for Apple? lel
SOON COMING TO THEATERS NEAR YOU OP FOR ONE-PUNCH-MAN
lol
This movie is NOT worth watching; adding a third character ruined the potential of this movie - the acting was decent but everything else was wack.
This was actually a very good film.
+johnnyatab It was. Really under-appreciated
Not really, there was a build up and a weak climax, the ending sucked.
Man, i loved this book as a kid. I grabbed it randomly because i liked its cover. So weird that it is going to be a movie. Maybe they will turn Children of the Dust into a movie next.
Ooh I'll be seeing this. Looks really good.
Can't make Margot look bad lol
After 10 years being slave, than get Margot falling in love with him. I guess its not bad deal.
Whenever I have insomnia, I watch this movie.
I had to read this book for summer reading way back in my school days, but the story is good and might turn out to be a great movie.
A movie I won't be seeing.
+TheDreamtimezzz you know what i said to my self.. im cruious if you want to see this movie.
+TheDreamtimezzz Yeah, nobody cares. Read the book. I read it as a kid 30 years ago and loved it.
+TheDreamtimezzz The movie sucked ass, and the ending was shittier than the movie.
Spoiler alert, Joker comes and kills them both and takes Harley back.
The Dog is so beautiful.
I hope the movie will be as good as the book.
I have a feeling it probably won't, but there are some great actors in it so I have some faith.
hey this is my Apocalytic doomsday Prep plan Water , some biscuit and margot robie
Caleb? Don't you mean James Tiberius Kirk?
harley quinn, black panther, and james kirk in one movie! awesome!
We have a verdict, Your Honor. The film played in a few theaters, was available on demand . . .
. . . and brought in $121, 461.00. That's 121 thousand dollars, not million. Yep, it's all about star power bringing the crowds in.
The whole film literally revolved around building a wheel (pun intended). In what way does this class as a sci-fi. Still a good movie nonetheless.
its sci-fi cuz margot robbie is gonna get all them dicks to fly away
she is going the Charlize Theron route which is smart
lmao..i see what you did there..if im guessing "Hancock"
you lonely with margot robbie, this film is a fucking dream, I want it.
Very good movie.
Margot Robbie IS SHE SINGLE ?
If only she was
and that would help you how?

she's married now lol
Well, one of my favorite books is now going to be ruined by Hollywood..
ggrrreeeaaattt
Never heard of this till now
I just got done reading the book I hope the Movie is just as good.
I know where these comments are going..
Looks awfully predictable..
Thrilling thriller
This looks good
These end of the world movies are unrealistic as shit. If there are no rules and no consequences, best believe that a hot woman like this is gonna get fucked.
I think ppl still have morals though
She does get fucked though, just not in the trailer.
+Liam Leonard right lmao wtf
In the book she gets raped
+IronRooRoo Clarification: with enough methods of self defense, SHE decides who gets to do the fucking, if anyone. I'm not familiar with this story (book or movie), but in the real world, if she's got the weapons she needs, she just might not be worth the rapists' trouble.
I was born in the town that is in the opening shots of the trailer. That's Welch West Virginia. I regret to inform everyone that that is actually what it looks like now since the mining industry has tanked. They've had to do little to no work to make it look like a post apocalyptic wasteland.
That's depressing :-(
Oh yea... the movie looks like shit.
Looks good and original
I read this book about 20 years ago in grade school...surprised it took them this long to make a movie out of it..always thought it had a good "book to movie" plot.
"Oh cool a dystopian film with a POC love intere-"
*white guy walks in*
uhhhh
*white guy and white girl make 'sexy' eye contact*
UGGHH Jesus Christ here we go again
Adam n eve and the snake
PERFECT! and just like adam and eve... the snake nails her
Is chris pine in every single fucking movie trailer i watch
Omg She's so beautiful
This movie was cinematography porn.
+Drew Clayton it's also margot robbie porn.
***** yeah bitch I do.
