I can't stand cranking with a 5:6:1 or 5 to whatever. If you want to burn it, it's like trying to pedal a bike uphill in the lowest gear. And when you catch one and it comes running straight toward you like a bullet, you can't catch up. There's nowhere else to go. 6:3:1 or 6:8:1 all day err day.
Bass spawn can’t be real different from the deer rut, yes there are variables like weather and moon phase, pressure, etc. I think it has a lot to do with amount of daylight. They need that sunshine. The days get longer and longer and they gotta do their deal.
In reverse, the deer rut really kicks off when there is less and less daylight. Or at least that’s how I’ve thought about it.
They are animals, they don’t have calendars, they live by the sun and moon, how God intended.
