  • Hi, I'm Elizabeth, welcome to my channel!
When we start new things they're always a liiiiittle bit awkward. I'm a graduate student studying somatic psychology, and I take a very somatics-focused, embodied approach to mental health. I'll be sharing that here on my channel.

Hi Elizabeth, we don't know each other but I suffer from PMDD and listened to your episode on Forrest's podcast. It was so helpful to hear what tools you use to help yourself come into some level of homeostasis and was thrilled to hear you started your very own channel! I look forward to seeing what information I can gather from your channel to help me in my own journey to living with PMDD. Thank you so much for being open and vulnerable and sharing your experience with the world. You inspire me to take the best care of myself that I can. Sending love!

Thank you for your courage and wisdom, Elizabeth. As a super sensitive, somatically inclined young dude - it helps so greatly to see and mirror such a warm space :)

Yay......I've been introduced to your videos in the last couple of days. Let's hear it for feeling:))!!!! I've had 30 years of searching for healing approaches that make sense. Human beings are animals. And it's just hard to face it some times:)). I think the modern healing paradigm has become practically addicted to dealing with "thought". I'm pretty sure that humans primarily find their motivation in the world of feeling and sensation. Even those that are highly intellectual. It is our sentience that makes us human. Those are my thoughts for today. I'm glad to have found your channel!!!!

I found your channel because I was looking for hope. Today I was diagnosed with PMDD and even though I can finally know what is going on with me, I couldn’t resist to feel the questions of NOW WHAT? I got across your partner video were he was interviewing you and I that video make me feel that I’m not alone. So here I am. Hoping to have a friend on this channel. Thank you so much for sharing 🫶🏻

This is great and you are lovley, they way you talk calms me down, I suffer from extrem lonliness feeling and the problem is that just by waking up my nervous system gets turned on and I can't handle any additional stress, so I zoom out when trying to engage with practical things in the world. My boddy is tence and I feel a deep sadnes and lonliness (even among people) this is often too much to bear. I was boorn early and sepreated from mum. Mum had GAD and never could hug me or had any close emotional contact. Father was an alcoholic always fighting (verbally attacking) with mum. I am trying to think my way out of it but it does not work (even threapy) it's just in me physically. I am also very tired from that my nervous system is always on and huge digestive problems as it's gets affected by the internal stress. Alcohol is the only thing at the moment that can calm my nervous system, I'm so tence that I can't sitt up straigt and I want to collaps all the time, just fall to the ground and not get up. This has destroyd my life in so many ways, work, relationships, everything. I must say your voice alone is therapuethic, lets feel together. Another thing I saw your video on Complex PTSD with your partner (hes a very lucky guy) and knowing that you yourself went throught simmilar feelings to mine is amazing in a way I can't put words on right now. The feeling of wow someone who truly can understand me for the first time in my life. Do you do any one to one online therapy, or perhaps by email or chat even?
