- I built this awesome 16ft gate using half lap joints and cross-brace as part of the fence building project. However, after couple of days, I saw the gate sag about half an inch. Gate also seemed flimsy because there was nothing anchoring it to the ground. Here is my custom solution to solving that problem. I hope you enjoy. Please leave your thoughts in the comment.

definitely a diy project. the basis of the video is correct but if a contractor is doing this work it needs to look better.
