  • Yea, the ‪@MoogSynthesizers‬ spectravox is out for some time and if youre interested in how it works, i made a nice ‪@bitwig‬ based preset for you, which replicates its behaviour. Sorry i cant replicate the hardware sound and feel but you get an idea what this device does! Download: bit.ly/3UGD8a0

    “It doesn’t make any sense to replicate this in Bitwig but I do it anyway” 😂 that’s why we love this channel!

    Had some gas over spectravox on release day, but I was able to reproduce it in grid to pleasant enough results

    I remember you building something like this years ago. I still have my version somewhere. It didn't have the spectral shift implemented iirc. Definitely fun to make these things now and then. It would be nice if the Grid allowed us to import knob packs so at least it would have Moogish knobs 😅 Nice job man.

      if we had gui elements, i could add some wood panels for better sound

    Yeah when I first saw an explanation of the Spectravox, my first response was "why?". It just doesn't seem all that great or special.

    Hi and thank you. Can you tell me why "Audio Carrier" shows that it receives a signal, but nothing can be changed in the signal? If it's just a signal from Spectrafox, I can change it, but if it comes from another track or audio file, no change is made. Why is this happening? What am I doing wrong?

    • @Qubie1
      @Qubie1 Před 26 dny

      Did you change the carrier type in the osc carrier section?

    • @michail_777
      @michail_777 Před 26 dny

      @@Qubie1 Yeah, sure. I did everything Polarity shows in the video. And yes the original signal from spectravox is changed, but it is superimposed on the signal from the VST (on a different track). The signal itself from the Device (Bitwig) or VST on the other track does not change. Maybe that's the plan, I don't know.

      in music production you dont need anything besides a sampler and a mixer. the rest is just toys for your enjoyment.

    I'm tired of this Moog-hysteria. Moog is way too much relaying on their fan base (OK, in case of Apple it works). Every little piece of hardware get's hyped by the community ... and when you inspect it under a lens it's mostly nothing special. Yes, it sounds great (most of the time) ... but for example in case of the »Moog One«? This price for a synthesizer which STILL have bugs? No, Moog, sorry.

      I tend to agree. if you remove the brand there is not so much left. But i would say this is true for many brands.
