Well he only wore those halves to honour those he lost but the girl was still alive so he didn't need her other half but the peach hair guy was dead so he found the other half and the other half of his shirt (peach hair guys) got burned so the black hair guy just took a random white haori and attached it to it Hope this helps (I'm bad at explaining stuff)
