Great video. Awesome content. Pretty nice Script too. What could use some improvement is audioquality. Slower and more clear speaking if you can't improve on the mic quality. Although improving the recording quality through technical adjustments an improvised popshield and playing around with levels could already help a lot.
Thanks, and thanks for the feedback and advice. I used a lapel mic and it came out super quiet so I tried to boost it in premiere but ended up just not being all that great sound quality. I think I found the setting that was scuffing the volume, hopefully that should make it OK for my upcoming prot warrior video, if not I'll cut my losses with this lapel mic and get a condenser, maybe the HyperX QuadCast? Sounds like you have expertise in this if you have any advice on the best one to get? Cheers
If we compare dense triangle mace (10 stam 10 strength) to Diamond hammer (3 str 4 stam) plus stitches femur, with other slots being various bis items, I came to: 2H: 1793 hp, 41.97% armor 1H+Off: 1730 hp, 43.78% armor Which (discounting dodge etc since it's same in both cases, and using sixtyupgrades), ended up being 3089.79 EHP for 2H, 3077.19 for 1H+Off. I tried it with various combinations of talents/buffs etc. and it does vary around a bit depending on what talents, what buffs, what other gear etc. but I'd expect for just pure EHP it ends up being a wash. Where the 2H pulls ahead though is you get way more strength and therefore threat. It's also better to have the stam vs armor when facing non-physical damage. I was originally going to include it as an alternative, the main reasons I didn't are 'cause there's so many options, it's annoying to get (esp as horde) and the best 2Hs came out ahead when considering both threat and mitigation. Oh one other thing is that in general, armor on gear as a druid is really good because of the multiplier, but at 25 you only get +180% from baby-bear rather than the +360% that you get with dire bear form at 40. I'd expect armor to be more of an emphasis in later phases.
They're pretty similar to warrior except armor is even better for druids since they get +180% armor from bear form. So something like: Stam : 1.5 Str : 1 Agi : 1 Hit : 4 Armor : 0.3 It's not a precise maths of course, since the nature of the encounters will vary things a bit depending on whether survivability or threat is more of a concern and armor is worse against caster bosses than against physical damage bosses etc.
@@_Foobar thanks that makes sense! : ) Do you think you will revise your lists once we know whats in BRD or are u thinking of these as preraid/early raid bis lists? Really like your vids and how you do little explainers on where everything is/what quests might have worth while gear. Keep up the great work!!
@@NinjaBlue64Cheers! Yeah I'll definitely do updated BiS lists once we know all the new stuff. Not quite sure how I'm going to do it, but I'll probably just modify and reupload each one with the new stuff included.
For druids perhaps, there are some classes where horde is way ahead, for example I'm doing prot warrior atm and they have some really nice horde-only stuff.
Yeah I'm not sure either. I hope we can, because trying to defeat a 34 elite with a group of 25s seems like a super fun challenge but if it's not a thing we'll just have to settle for Troll's Bane Leggings.
Cheers and thanks for the feedback, it should be a bit better in the next two holy pally and hunter videos and I *think* I have it sorted for the one I'm working on now.
Yeah that will be especially true for some of the higher level mats, the main thing I described as cheap I think was the deadly blunderbuss, and that was based on doing a practice run where I level mining/engi as I go. I was able to craft many deadly blunderbusses (10+) just off the copper I got while levelling mining. The only thing I needed was the medium leather, which comes from low level mobs. We'll see what the economy shakes out as when servers are released though :)
Why should we not be allowed to talk about stuff we already know? Blizz can and will probably change a lot of stuff but theorycrafting with what we got is fun and keeps us entertained until launch ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
How about you just let -SoD- this video be what -SoD- this video wants to be? A -game- video where not everything is -discussed to the grim before it even launched- exactly the way you want it
@@Youre-absolutely-right there are new quests, existing gear is being changed and new rewards added. A bis list for 25(lol) with incomplete information is dumb as shit. It's called the season of discovery, it's not a solved endgame anymore.

Great video! The addition of easier to get non-bis pieces was a very appreciated inclusion
Cheers, glad you found that helpful
This is the good shit.
Cheers, glad you enjoyed it
Good stuff mate, Combat Rogue plz... and a possible rogue tank bis list xoxo
I have a tank rogue bis list coming very soon! Expect it in the next few days :)

Bis gear, all subject to change..nice
Yep! Will be exciting to see what new loot the BFD raid brings and how it fits in with the existing and already revealed gear.
who is the artist from your background image?
Artist's name is Yaoren Wo
I would argue that 1h + 50 armor off-hand from duskwood quest or stitches is bis for bear.

For most of your newer videos you've done stat weights, what do u think they would be for tank druid? Thanks for the video!
They're pretty similar to warrior except armor is even better for druids since they get +180% armor from bear form.
So something like:
Stam : 1.5
Str : 1
Agi : 1
Hit : 4
Armor : 0.3

So excited for SOD i been working uber eats for 3 months to be able to afford boes!!!
Update: well its been week 1 of sod and i realized the raid content was dumb easy and the raid gear replaced the 2000$ set of greens i bought :[
Ah so you're the one who has been fetching my food. Thanks, it was delicious.
This just reinforces that the idea the alliance has better gear. Its much easier for them.
For druids perhaps, there are some classes where horde is way ahead, for example I'm doing prot warrior atm and they have some really nice horde-only stuff.
Not sure if we will have gnomer access to do rig wars being only level 25 plus their hinting plans at overhauling.

awesome vid but sound is very low

You also have to remember cheap materials are in a world where 60 n is cap

We have no idea what's going to be bis lol, BFD is full of new improved gear
Its obviously a pre-BFD list.
@@coupable7045 yeah so it's useless
