heck, I supported dukakis over bush and I stand by that in hindsight -- let's be honest here, bush lied about taxes, bush created that recession, and bush surrendered to saddam after the US military had that war more overwhelmingly won than any modern war has ever been won...bush sr. was the worst president between carter and obama, with all due disrespect to bush jr. and clinton...bush sr. was so bad plenty of us preferred to vote third party and lose than to have another 4 years of bush...at least clinton was honest about raising taxes and his military ineptness was cheap no fly zones instead of surrendering after winning total wars...heck, I would have supported jesse jackson over bush sr. in '88...
