Had to be 15+ years ago now. My sister had just about enough at her job. She was really hating it, yet had not starting looking elsewhere for employment. If even 25% were true of the "horrors" she told me over the phone were true - Hell yeah, I'd want to book it out of there.
So one day on Facebook she goes on a acid spewed, hate rant about her job. Within moments of her posting I called telling her to take it down. She said it was okay because she and the manager were really good friends and she wouldn't be ratted out. So, here it comes..... shortly after she started there everyone became each other's friends over Facebook. Several years later, she and several other employees including the manager didn't get along with her anymore.
When my sister showed up to work the the following morning not only was the owner of the chain there but several suits from corporate. They booted her @ss so fast out the door she didn't even now what the Hell just happened.

I used to work at a deli, I was dusting some shelves and hit a glass jar of some kind of sauce they were selling, it fell to the ground and smashed, and I was fired on the spot despite cleaning it up and offering to pay for it, the manager there was a awful person anyway, I walked past that area today and that deli is now a pot dispensary, glad they are out of business.

I come from a different time, & am aware of that.
