- No-Go Zones: World’s Toughest Places, Detroit Part 2 | Short Documentary
The violent crime rate in Detroit is five times higher than in the rest of the country. Seven Mile in particular is the front line for the bloody territorial battles that brutally define this no-go zone. For the police, every assignment is a risk, which is why bounty hunters are often used to go after criminals. A special unit of bounty hunters prepares for their next assignment on the outskirts of downtown. Tommy Depung leads the unit. So far, he’s arrested over twenty-five hundred criminals.

So what your saying is i should not move to Detroit
It was really bad in the 90’s
I worked as a tech at the Chuck E Cheese off gratiot. One of 3 stores in the country with armed security.
10 years in prison for execution style murders. Bring back hanging and electric chair
I used to live there in 1992 , worked in Henry Ford Hospital.
I'm so sad that over 20 years later it got even worse, I cannot believe it. Back then I drove down the street and I got into a crying spell seeing the drug addicted poor souls doing their dance. I didn't understand what came over me: I had never seen a deprivation like that before then...
Sad af we out giving billions to other countries while our very own citizens are living like this! It’s a freaking joke!
Only 8-10 years in prison? I doubt such low sentences are helpful to alleviating crime.
This community would benefit a lot from a scheme where the locals were retrained for those jobs that are in demand, a support network for home based business and start-ups and a neighbourhood association for preventing the formation of criminal gangs. This would be coupled with policing, surveillance and social work where applicable.
So sad. Damn.
Yeah Gratiot Ave is NUTS
Damn this really reminds me of Philly! Minus the gangs. My brothers in Detroit stay strong. You are the stone that the builders refused. Soul survivors 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I hope he gets his family out of there.
Politicians did this by shipping all the good jobs to China !
You literally need us army to go and confiscate every gun in us
How many places the so called great USA have like this??
What a bloody shame. 🙉🙈🙊
Over 5,000
You say it like America is only country with places like this
It's a demographic problem
@@daviddrummond2494wrong
"bloody shame?" Huh? Particularly the "bloody" part of that sentence Reminds of literally every liveleak video ever taking place in the middle of an empty sand dune in africa/the middle east. Or all the stabbings in the uk or the cartel in mexico that owns the streets. Or a workers factory in china with no safety requirements...the fact of the matter is, america is not nearly as bad as people think compared to these other places.
