Hi. I am so sorry to hear the crew was unfriendly. I am a flight attendant at Norwegian, gosh, I wish you would have flown with me. Great video and keep up the great work!
I suggest you bring this to your superiors attention. I bet it won’t take them long to figure out the crew.
The crew were rude on our flight too
I usually have great crew. It’s unfortunate
Kevin F hi i wanna be Cabin crew on Norwegian can you give me some tips i am 14 right now.
@@CarlosMartinezz don’t bother
I always fly Norwegian, and I am surprised the crew was unfriendly, I think you were unlucky, I have flown with them many times and my experience have been fantastic.
Coming from Australia, low cost carriers can be very 'low cost' in the whole experience. Last year had the pleasure of flying Norwegian from Barcelona to Tenerife Canary Islands and to be honest never heard of them before. Aircraft, seating, overall comfort fantastic, crew were exceptional and could not be faulted. Can highly recommend and will definitely use them again.
Man, if someone puts his shoes on the seat, that's utter idiocy, selfishness and disrespect to other travellers. I can understand that flight attendants have zero tolerance for that and they let the passenger know very strictly.
Agreed!
Hey Daniel... Love your work. Its definitely hard to stay unbiased in your reviews. I appreciate that I can travel with you on different airlines around the world, sampling what they have to offer, in the various classes you review. Cheers and keep up the good work.
Tony
What I like about your videos is that you are always positive and upbeat, even if the service isn’t the best. Bravo!
I’ve flown Norwegian a few times and have had very similar experiences to you. Overall they’re a great airline and better than some full service carriers. However, on my last flight from Greece to the UK,the crew were a bit curt / unfriendly / inattentive, whereas before this the crews have always been great. Anyway, keep up the good work. 👍
Great video as always! In my opinion, Norwegian is MY favourite European low cost carrier.
Keep up the good work, I cannot wait for the conclusion and EasyJet videos.
:)
Norwegian is like the Southwest of Europe, While Ryanair is like Spirit
What bout easyjet
easyjet would be between Jetblue and Frontier I guess?
More like Ryanair is Southwest, Norwegian is Alaska and Easyjet is Allegiant
Except EasyJet probably doesn't have to make an emergency landing every week lol
Ryanair was literally based on southwest at the start of the airline..
I flew from Edinburgh to Providence a couple weeks ago and it was the best flight ever. I was flying on the 737-800. I can't say enough good things about the flight. First of all it was an overnight flight and the cabin lights were so relaxing so people could sleep. The wifi was pretty fast and the meal was amazing. It was seriously better than my meal on Emirates which is amazing for a budget airline. It was a smooth flight and Norwegian is now my favourite airline.
Very nice flight review of Norwegian, and your storytelling is quite good. Nice to see someone else have noticed the same pros and cons of this airline, like myself. Great video! =)
I am a Swedish 14 Yearold and I’ve been flying with Norwegian basically my whole life and I love the airline.
I don’t travel near enough anymore but I did fly Norwegian to Ireland last year and had a great experience. I look forward to flying with them again. Food was yummy too!
Congratulations on 100k subscribers! Keep rolling them out!👏👍👌🎉🎊😎
Note that Norwegian is not only a European carrier. It serves also Stewart International Airport in the New York City area, with two daily flights from there to Dublin.
This is the best place to come on the internet for excellent flight reviews!!’
Yay thanks so much Joseph!!
I LOVE your economy week vids. Keep up the great work ;). Btw I would love for you to do an economy week series in Australia, maybe between TigerAir, Jetstar and Virgin Australia:)
Thank you for the video. An interesting review, as always.
Wouldn't Wizz fit better as a competitor against Ryanair and Easyjet?
Do Dodakowski true. Norwegian is budget, but doesn’t act like it.
I love your videos! I am 17, almost 18, and I come from Norway but I live in Kansas City, Missouri at the moment. You are such an inspiration to me!! I really like your flight reviews and i adore that you love aviation that much. I have been watching your videos for about a year now and you always make great content, and your personality is awesome. Planes have really fascinated me since i was really young and I'm planning on becoming a pilot or air traffic controller or something that has to do with planes when I'm older. After watching your videos I have booked a flight on Alaska Air and on Norwegian, I cannot wait! I usually have an average of 16 flights a year, so i was wondering how many flights you fly on an average and how you can afford that at such a young age? And also, can you do a review of Qantas A380? I'm flying with them this upcoming December and I have heard great things!
Okay enough rambling, love you and your videos!
Wow you always seem so positive and happy in every video , keep it up man ! Greetings from Boston USA!
As usual great review! The economy week concept is just amazing to compare the legacy and LCC's across US and Europe. Could you also do something similar in Asia?
You can still select / change your seat (without a fee) if you use the self check-in kiosk just in case you end up with a seat that you don't like (when you do mobile check-in beforehand).
Great review. Also have 80D, great camera for your reviews!! Keep up the good work!!
The personnel interaction and wide range of airlines sets you way apart from all the other aviation CZcamsrs. Almost at 100k well done :)))))
Hoping to see you onboard a flight in Scandinavia soon! Great review as always.
Congratulations on 100K Daniel 😉
I flew with them to Berlin, and they were amazing! I was surprised, because I’ve never flown with a low cost carrier before. I like them!
I’m really sorry to hear you had a bad experience with crew!! We are usually very nice and super friendly!!
Congrats 100k Well done
I flew with Norwegian last December, GOT-BCN. Super nice and the free wifi was super cool, definitely flying with them again if I have the opportunity. Greetings from Mexico, I love your videos!
Omg the coolest part of this is that you’re from Mexico, but went to Gothenburg!! Did you enjoy it?😃
Always enjoy your reviews, the quality of the video, your soundtrack, and the comments. High compliments on describing all the things that interest an avgeek and travel nerd like me ;-). I look forward to every upload and enjoy them all. Interesting and entertaining, as well as valuable for travelers who haven't flown with the airlines that you review. I wonder: Is it accurate to classify AS as a budget carrier? Except for QX Dash-8-Q400 flights, AS offers a competitive F service (unlike WN and all of the European LCCs and ULCCs). Not only that, AS has rolled out a pretty successful Premium Economy, which is a really great bargain. Don't you think those products - along with the very same Y cabin service that you can find on all the US mainline carriers (complimentary bevs and snacks, menu of à la carte snacks and cold meals for a decent price) ranks AS as a full-service carrier? I sure do. And after the merger with VX is complete, AS's network will also cover a good deal of the territory covered by the likes of AA, DL, UA, and WN (and exceeding the reach of B6). In my book, EZ and FR are ULCCs; WN is an LCC. AS doesn't belong to either class in terms of its level of service, even though its fares definitely compete with those of LCCs and ULCCs, whose products are definitely inferior. Now that you've given us a sampling of DY's offerings, I'd guess that it ranks somewhere between LCC and ULCC. Just a few thoughts to share - THANKS for all your work! Hope you keep it up!
Hey Dan, really nice vid. Could u make another Economy week, with “premium” EU carriers fks. (SAS, Lufthansa, air France) or something?
Thanks again Dan! Really like your hair too!!
i've been following u for a while Dan, but this is my first comment... lol. From the reviews i've seen here on CZcams, i must say. U and Sam Chui are the greatest. i really appreciate the loads of work u put in your reviews. Always a pleasure to watch. Happy flying Dan! :)
So glad - thank you for the kind words Morten!
My flight was delayed and they brought out a replacement aircraft for our flight. Horrible plane with no sky interior, no WiFi, old seats. But the crew made up for it. I will always remember the captain saying “ you’re going to have to have a good old fashioned chit chat on this flight as we don’t have any wifi”
Sorry to hear your experience with Norwegian was not as expected. Most Norwegian crew are not like this, I hope that you will choose Norwegian again and have a better experience next time! Nice video!
Im from Norway and i love Norwegian airline.
Congrats Dan on 100K subscribers!
Thanks so much!
Would be really interesting to see the comparison of Norwegian and Eurowings. Eurowings is getting wifi onboard and entertainment system from your phone. And since Eurowings is part of the Lufthansa group, I assume they have a better loyalty program. Anyway, great work man!
I never went on Norwegian so thanks for the review of this airline also when will you make the easyJet video coming out?
I am a former flight attendant and hope that you took advantage of that fast wifi to send an email to Norwegian about the negative experience on that 2nd flight. the one thing that bothers me about Norwegian, is they are registered in Ireland to avoid Norway's labor laws. I think that's terrible. not sure how they are allowed to get away with that.
I have never been on Norwegian Airlines nor ever been to Europe, but the boarding music is the best I've heard on an airline so far besides Virgin America or Alaska.
You need to try Jet2. Get a seat in the front of a 757 and enjoy the RB211 roar. The best flight I ever had was with them, crews are fantastic.
Norwegian is really cool!
I agree!
I usually like your stuff. But what a skewed review. Norwegians Wifi is a joke. Cannot do anything with it. Really only send text emails. Any attachments do not work. CZcams does not work at all, neither does NetFlix. Food for pay ok. No water is free. Any water at all. Also this airline is really late all the time...
John Rosenbaum well, WiFi on planes are not supposed to be used for streaming, the only streaming is thru their apps.
Indeed.
i agree cuz i live there xD
Great video as always Dan! Regarding flight attendants, out of my personal experience working as a flight attendant too,i think in GENERAL male flight attendants are more polite and professional than female flight attendants are...
Great video as always!
Thanks for always watching my friend :)
Norwegian is not bad at all. Even I as an Star Alliance customer (SAS) like them from time to time. The bonus program is great (planning a free Boston trip in autumn - thanks for that^^). I did the 5 hour flight with DY from OSL to RAK and had no problem to build my own entertainment system (tablet, power bank, Bose headset and Netflix download), and water I could fill at the airport after security. Food you can take with you. Had in fact a great time and good staff (even SAS has some moody people). Good legroom even for me as a big guy. Only two flight to free luggage... Thanks for interesting reports! Tack så mycket! ;-)
Congrats on 100K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you!! :D
Hey Dan , I love your video as the are very detailed and different. But i have one problem..... Lower your mic's sensitivity pls XD
You should try the transatlantic Norwegian to PVD or BDL out of Edinburgh on the 737 max 8.
Congrats on 100k
I think Norwegian are in my opinion, the best low cost carrier in Europe. They offer a great service and value and with the free wifi, they soar above the competition. Sad to see such an impressive product being contaminated by unprofessional, rude and offensive could not care less cabin crew, as on your second flight. Loved the report Dan, thanks.
Hey Daniel! I missed you🤗
Congratulations for 100k subscribers
YAY thank you!
I did enjoy the mood lighting! We flew from LA directly to Oslo.
You said JetBlue, Alaska & Southwest are LCC. Southwest sort of is but Alaska is a legacy carrier and so is JetBlue to some degree. The true LCC in the US are Frontier, Spirit & Allegiant and then its comparable to Europe.
Im just so happy to have this airline in my country :)
I usually fly from Gothenburg and connect in Stockholm to fly their new B787 to Miami. It’s really good
hey dan!!!! this was awesome!!!!!!!!!11 I just had one questions which is your fav airline??? mine is lufthansa:)
I'm going in Norwegian airlines in 10th august and from Gatwick to Greece skiathos
Whoa... Free Wi-FI! I will have to try Norwegian from Helsinki to Oslo.
Dude awesome video! Your next economy should be the other three American low-cost carriers, ex: Spirit, Frontier, Allegiant
I completely agree Alaska JetBlue and Southwest are low cost but Allegiant,Frontier, and Spirit are ultra low cost like Ryan Air and Easyjet
Most pointless Top tens agreed.
@@samuelingram1242 expensive Ultralowcostcarriers.
Ryanair at least is cheap.
And Spirit is too expensive
Love it! A budget airline in Europe that is survivable!
I wish Norwegian would operate more routes out of Manchester (my home airport)... I think they’d do really well, but I see why they choose to go from Gatwick - Thomas Cook and Virgin Atlantic already operate to Norwegian's long haul destinations, but some more routes to Rome and Barcelona would be great!
Do you think that Norwegian will loose some market with easyJet expanding into Scandinavia from Berlin
Why was the coffee cup not completely full? Because it's a hot drink, and if there is a sudden little movenent like turbulence you might get some hot coffee on you. So, was not full for your safety, the safety of the attendant taking it to your seat, and the passengers around. Also the company protects itself from being sued by a passenger if an airline's worker burns him with a hot drink
Love your videos great job, I live in Holland and you should try Transavia as well.....:))
Great video! liked!
Glad to hear that EJ :D
Do you know if you book 2 tickets together they would randomly assigned your seats but together if you didn't pay the $45 dollar fee per seat?
I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Norwegian though I guess this shows that every rose does sometimes have a thorn or two.
Great job Dan as always 😊👍Quick question though, would this be similar to the experience on DY's 737 Max aircraft and if so would you say it's good enough for a long haul leg like DUB-SWF ?
I would argue rude crew is the exception rather than a rule in Norwegian. I always had very friendly crews on norwegian flights so far.
loved it! What's the chance of getting a sky interior? are they really new that they're not that common yet?
Matteo Mariano flying with Norwegian the chance of sky interior is huge. 90% or more of their 737-800 fleet has sky interior. :)
Try Jet 2 - we were really impressed with them - and they are expanding their routes
Nice review, if ever you do flights out of New York let us know. I’ll do the patron
I had a good experience with Shannon for a round trip between SWF and SNN however there was no wifi. Thank goodness I downloaded entertainment.
Wow! I love that the Wi-fi is free! Seems like Norwegian have a great product 😆 It’s unfortunate to hear you had a bad experience with some of their flight attendants but I’m sure it doesn’t represent what all of their flight attendants are like. Great review Dan ✌️👍😊
Not only as a passenger, I worked for the company and I had to left my job for personal and geographical reasons and... I promise you that I feel impatient to come back ASAP
Hi would you fly with SAS och Norwegian on a daily basis if you'd choose one of them
I would love to see a comparison of those airlines to SAS, eurowings or Wizzair
Sir, sir no shoes on the seat. No shoes on the seat! I think she was a bit choco loco on that flight😂
Norwegian are an excellent airline, they grow so much in recent years and are having a great impact on the aviation industry. They also offer wi-if onbaord!Compared to Ryanair and Easyjet they are much better.
if u have chance, try to do another Ultra Low Cost airlines in the USA. ( Frontier, Spirit, Allegiant)..
Almost 100k !!! Great video, the only thing I don't like about Norwegian is the way they treat their employees.. some said the treat them even worse than Ryanair.
What about trying the ones in turkey? Pegasus, Anadolujet and Sunexpress
I flew on Norwegian many times and never got bad service, maybe we went on Norwegian on a bad day.
I flew from London to Boston without any problem. However when I flew from NYC to Paris I was really surprised by the fact that nobody was speaking French. This was ok for me but for some non english speakers, that was surprising !
If you Could do the Economy Week in Indonesia, i recommend you to compare Citilink with Air Asia and Batik air, and Lion Air with Sriwijaya
In the opening scene you looked more scared than excited!!!😅
Five flights for the day! Rumor has it you only took two flights the next day, including one from Europe to SFO!
Looks like Alaska air interior. Seats appear to be the same basic design, especially at 1:48.
Can we buy food from the airport and board on flight
Have you ever flown La Compagnie? And would you ever review it in a video?
Hi ..absolutely nice video..i m really looking forward for some trip reports on north african carriers..RAM..tunisair..air Algérie..would you or are you planning some ?
Something to consider, since the US is so big compared to many European countries, the cost to travel is often much cheaper to travel in Europe. In the US, flights are so expensive for even economy class. Southwest is the only US airline that sells tickets solely on their own website. It’s one of two US airlines I know of that does not charge for baggage.
Wayyyyy nicer then Ryanair! Great video! I loved it!
There is another great European budget airline it’s called Transavia it’s my favorite you should definitely try it out!
I use to fly with them when they flew to Ibiza but now that they have taken this route out of their network I have moved over to Easy Jet.
Great Video. In America, our Low Cost airlines are popular. The Ultra - Low Cost airlines are the ones you want to stay away from. Allegiant, Frontier, and Spirit are much more in line with Ryanair, Easyjet, and Norwegian.
Cheap airlines are wunderful for young people and tourists.
But for people who are constantly travelling (especially for working) the problem is that cheap airlines are often not supporting the expensive airports (inside london for example) on a regulary basis.
Norwegian isn't the best low-cost airline. It is the best airline in the whole world.
One time i flew with norwegian and i wanted to connect to the wifi but i had a few problems with my phone then the flight attendants helped me. The flight attendants was always smiling and the seats were very comfortable. The overhead ife has amazing graphics. Norwegian has on order 30 airbus a321's and i am excited to fly on board one of them. That is why Norwegian is my favourite airline
I agree. Also one of the safest airlines in the world. Never had any accidents so i always feel safe while traveling with norwegian
