    Saved by faith alone such as the thief on the cross. Jesus talks about man made traditions in mathew and mark and how they get in the way of following jesus christ. Its all in the bible folks

      Certainly. However, that doesn’t invalidate the sacraments established by Christ.

      You are right on, Paul in the Epistles talked about law and how Christ was the fulfillment of the law. Now believers were no longer bound by the restrictions and had true freedom in Christ. The ecumenical churches try and bind believers back into man made doctrines that Christ was so critical of the Jewish faith of his day.

    A humble question: How can someone who wants to learn more get to truth? It looks like there is only one way to salvation and all branches point the finger to eachother and claim their way to be the only way. How can someone solve this riddle?

    He is telling us do this in remembrance to me. This is symbolic very clearly. The eating of flesh and drinking of blood are forbidden in the scripture. The Roman catholic church has taught many false teachings and should be avoided. YOU CAN NOT PRAY TO MARY. There is one mediator between man and God and that is JESUS. 1 Tim 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

      John 6 would disagree. 1 Corinthians 10 would disagree, immediately followed by 1 Corinthians 11.
      If you do not eat Christ’s flesh and drink His blood, you can have no eternal life. These are Christ’s own words (John 6:53-54). If the cup is not the blood and the bread not the body (1Cor 10:16) then how can partaking unworthily make us guilty of the *body* and *blood* of the Lord? (1Cor 11:27)
      The new covenant in blood is also a fulfillment of Zechariah 9:11

    I love the Orthodox Church. But I also see believers baptism, grace trough faith and that not of yourself, praying only to Jesus in truth and spirit, and that you should not place your trust in artifacts or saints but solely on the finished work of Christ. I don’t agree with everything the Orthodox Church or John MacArthur espouse however neither are heretical such as Catholicism, Jehovah Witnesses, Mormons, Prosperity preachers etc.
    Let’s look squarely at what is written in the pages from Genesis through Revelation. Let’s stop name calling and demeaning each other as 1 Corinthians would champion love, patience , humility. Let’s look at both sides of the equation without being offended. Let’s try and act like mature Christians and possibly Bereans. Looking forward to another video and scripture supported comments and critiques. Our goal should be fleshing out the eternal truths found in scripture. 💜🌸

    Excellent summation! I watched John MacArthur a few times out of curiosity. He strikes me as a belligerent, mean-spirited man who comes off like the President of a 1950's restricted country club that would not accept Jews, Catholics or people of color into membership. He becomes more belligerent when his lucrative empire is challenged. He takes on the roll of an accuser more than that on an evangelist of the Gospels. He would have had a field day hanging half of the colonists in Salem if he was a church elder back then. He should remember that Christ said to "stop pointing out the splinter in your brother's eye when you can't perceive the wooden beam in your own".
