The 6th Generationsports EA sports games are timeless, but not without their faults. They did more to push their games forward than anything since.
Madden 12 & 25 for the Xbox 360 are my favorite installments in the franchise, but 04-08 on the PS2 console generation is fantastic as well.

Wow, I couldn't possibly disagree more with your take on Madden 12. It's regarded by many, including myself, as one of the all-time best Madden games ever. I know it's just a matter of opinion, but I get the feeling you really didn't even play the game - excuse me, if I'm wrong!
The PS3 version, yes. This was about the PS2 version which was not the same.

I just got into American Football because here in Romania we watch The European version (soccer). The only Madden game I have is 17 for PS3.

Madden on ps2 and the Ncaa football games are the best on the old systems (ps2,xbox,gamecube)

do any of you know if it is true that madden 09 lets franchise mode go to 60 years as the maximum you can play franchise mode. Since all the other ones go only 30 years deep
I’m in year 15. I port all my ncaa 09 players into the game. So it’s taking me longer to get through the years. So I don’t know

"there are no bugs or glitches in madden 08" oooooh there is one for the superstar mode. If u set ur players awareness to 0 while building his stats and then fail the IQ test, it underflows and causes ur awareness to skyrocket to 99

@@Relic827 GameCube played it better because ps2 had frame drops in the pocket which I use to think was a slow mo effect back than 😆 until I played it on Xbox and saw the texture differences and performance
