Nice analysis! You should watch the video making of this MV. At the 1st I thought they just used CG, but when watch the video making, they are actually use the real explosions and add some CG after that. The only one who keep calm during the shoot is Chansung, the one who sit drinking tea when there's explosion behind him. He didnt even flinch lol Meanwhile Nichkhun (the one who walking when there's explosion and cut on his face) and Jun.K (the one who had car burnt behind him) were startled at 1st and need re take :D 3 of them are famous actor in SK, Lee Junho (the one with wet cloth), Ok Taecyeon (the one in car and train) and Chansung. Nichkhun act in Thailand and Chinesse dramas/movie as he is American Thai with Chinese descendant.. he also acted in Hollywood movie Hongkong Love Story recently. Wooyoung the one who wrote and composed this song also acted in the past like famous SK drama Dream High but he is more in to variety shows now. And Jun.K is Musical Actor.
They are back after 5 years hiatus due to military service (except Nichkhun). They have another videos for the other 2 songs in the MUST album. The Cafe and Hold You. Its just 2PM making it but love the songs and videos as well. Please watch the other 2 songs videos as well
For their older songs maybe you can try watching Promise (I'll Be), Go Crazy and Come Back When You Hear This Song ~ Thank you ~

I love the song and the video. 2PM is another famous second generation group making their comeback after the military service (like SHINee for instance). I'm glad that their comeback was successful. Few of the members are also very good and popular actors (I especially love Junho), so the cinematic feel of the MV is well justified.

6:28 FYI he is the one who suggested the idea of using meteorites in the the video and the explosions , he is Lee Junho 💛 ( main vocalist & lead dancer ) according to him he really want to be shown in the video that he is literally wet especially his hair but the the director mixed something because of his visual 😍
Then the falling meteorites contains many meanings as for Him
( the feeling of being in love or love at first sight )
: your attractiveness is giving a big shake to my world
: even under the intense situation, you're charming & I can only see you 😍😊
This is a real explosion (there's a behind the scene of the MV ) during the shot they were really hit by the flying pieces ( small pieces ) from the explosion..
Hope you can check more on them .. They are Legendary group from 2nd generation 💛💛

I love your views on the filming aspects. I learned a few things. Thank you.

One of the members co-wrote and composed the song (Wooyoung, the one who starts the MV). He wrote the lyrics from the perspective of unexpected attraction and needing to make a connection somehow.
Important lyrics: “When I look at you, I lose my mind.” Not sure if you caught the zoom into his eye at the beginning (you were looking at the camera), but this is essentially his mind going 😍🤯🤔, knowing he just has the “make it” happen. At the end, Junho smiles at the girl/camera while the fireball is about to engulf them, and the final choreo is upbeat, so I think that shows the 💡 in his head for what to say. Then we zoom back out of his eye and he goes out to meet her.
The only complaint I have, especially after watching many reactions, is that the window is less obvious to many - I think a glass door would’ve been more effective at the end; I’ve seen people think he’s walking away from her.
They are an older group who collaborates closely with each other as a unit (not common) to come up with songs and creative concepts. I think you picked up on how equal they consider each other. There are three making videos I think you’d find interesting. You also get to know them a bit more. I was surprised at how many basic effects they used, including some that startled the guys in those scenes. Start here czcams.com/video/Yuvcpv2POAY/video.html

Their 2014 title track, Go Crazy, won an award for best MV that year. You might like that one, and it’s a lot of fun! Like Make It, this song was written by another member, Jun. K. (The other recs below were written by their boss.)
ADTOY (2013), Without You (2010) and Heartbeat (2009) are older MVs you could check out too.

I find it really funny how when Wooyoung was producing the album, he was really pressured and kept thinking he "must make it", which is why the album is named "must" and the title track is named "make it".

Thanks for reaction. Yes you got the point of video right. 2pm is the only kpop group that I follow and they're belong to second generation. Maybe you want to react to "Promise" by them. And what about their japanese music video, such as "Winter Games"? I love this one.

My House is another amazing music video of them which is based on many fairy tales. That song also has a wonderful history that it becomes popular 5 years after it was released.

Junho wanted them to wet his head as well but the director nixed the idea because of his visual. Still watching the reaction but you are spot on. They have a behind the scenes making of the mv.
Junho also came up with the concept of the meteors representing the way you feel when experiencing love at first sight.

Watch this My House MV to compare: czcams.com/video/lXDyWT3VlKg/video.html
“My House” is written by JunK, and I love his writing. He has a few songs on this MUST album. The cover song, however, “Make It” is written by Wooyoung who appears first in the MV and was the “PD” (producer responsible for pulling the MV together). The apocalyptic idea was JunHo’s (wet w/blue silk shirt). He was the last 2PM member to return from mandatory military service in January 2021, to reunite with his 2PM brothers. They are now in their early 30’s (31-34)-they didn’t perform together for 5 years, 2016-2021).
I love the execution of the “Make It” MV, but while I like this song, my personal favorite is “My House,” as a dance video and to sing along with. There are other great 2PM songs-their choreo/singing is fun, creative, sexy-check out their live concerts. It’s so hard to sing and dance at the same time and keep your energy up from beginning to end. I’d say as a dancer, JunHo’s moves are sharp from beginning to end, and he’s a natural falsetto so it’s easy to pick out his voice; his stamina as a performer is amazing (I think he lives off the energy of his audience as he sings/dances-he was born/made to beca performer). My son was a 2PM fan in college (he’s now 30). I became a fan during the pandemic over the past year. I love their R&B and jazzy sound (I grew up dancing to Motown sounds, Soul Train, so I’m old but danced a lot in my younger years-modern dance, latin, disco). To my mind this is AsianSoul. I don’t know much more about K-Pop beyond 2PM. Enjoy!!

It's not about her ignoring them. It's about the first time seeing a girl who really blows you away, and then trying to decide what to do next. Do you approach? If so, how?
But at the end what does the guy do? He realizes a girl who can make you feel like the world will end if you don't have her is too much trouble, nobody needs that kind of aggravation, so he WALKS AWAY. The underlying message is advocating moderation and discretion, rather than giving in to passing infatuation.

2PM are a great group. They've been around for 14 years now, so the members are all in their early 30s. They built Kpop from the bottom up along with other 2nd generation Kpop groups like SuJu and Girls' Generation. You should react to more 2nd generation groups! Great vid.

you need to react more of them like My House, A.D.T.O.Y, Go crazy, Hands up, Promise (I'll be), Higher, Again and again, 10 out of 10, etc... They live performances are amazing.

Great reaction!! If you notice, the video starts with Wooyoung seeing the girl, and it goes INTO HIS MIND (lol) and the world starts to be destroyed, and at the end of the video it comes back out of his mind😆😆 so he saw this girl and in his mind the world ended😆😆😆 so I feel like he has a very dramatic mind. which we can then see being acted out by all the members✨

can you react to Jun.K's(2PM's main vocalist) 'Think about you', 'Your wedding' and '30 minutes might be too long' songs. trust me. he's an amazing artist.
fact- the one who start the song is actually a huge LP fan. his house's one wall is filled with LPs. he's the song writer and composer of this song.

For me, the main character would be wooyoung (the one in the store) and the girl. He just get super attracted to her at 1st sight.
While the other 5 guys are the representative of wooyoung. Meaning what happened in his head/mind/feeling and what not.
That is why, in the end of the mv, they get back to wooyoung who then decided that he must get to know her.
2pm always use 1 female model. That is why i always think that they (6 members) is like 1 entity or character in different scene.
