I went down there because I was so terrified of the ride, and what was so funny is one of the cast members said to me while we were going down, she was like oh don’t worry honey this one so normal it’s not going to drop you. I just thought that was hilarious and I immediately made me stop crying. 😅

The ride broke and I rode the express elevator and we were gonna be late to The Brown Derby. I asked the bellhop if it was safe and I got a few laughs, and he said “no promises”
I was in that elevator. I have a heart problem, but wanted to see the inside of the ride. I told the cast member that I couldn't ride because of my bad heart, but I am a big fan of The Twilight Zone. So, I just wanted to see the inside of the ride. He showed me to the express elevator.
Been there. Panicked while sitting on the ride and they let me out and the cast member in the elevator says in this creepy voice “happens all the time.” Literally then I worried if I was actually still on the ride as we went down lol.
Broke my heart when Disneyland did away with this; my single favorite attraction at any park. Clever and spooky and so much damn fun--it was like dropping directly into the creepiest ever Twilight Zone episode.
In the movie, the service elevator was the "normal" one. The main elevator was the one that dropped. Fun fact: the Tower of Terror isn't a free fall ride, you get yanked down otherwise you would fall at the same rate as the elevator and not go "flying out of your seat"
Buddy is just spreading lies also free fall rides would still make you float out of your seat an elevator is def not free fall bud. The “movie” is a show and the tower of terror was a completely unique idea as were each of the episodes

The worst part is the anticipation. Since I’m skinny I got sent flying out of my seat,even with my tight seatbelt. It was fun,yet I was extremely dizzy. If you’ve never been on this ride,think of the funniest things in line. The scene after the part where the elevator moves on the track is where it falls,so do be expecting that.

I was on a disney trip with my friends and my bff wanted to ride the tower of terror, we waited 2 hours in line and i was so scared that i chickened out last second and left alone on the express elevator, a nice lady with silvery hair was there and talked me out of my sadness. My friend still ditched me after and went with other friends to other rides while i was away.
My first time on the ride was at Paris and litterally as soon as the tower came in sight I started shaking and crying and carried on through the whole line my mum kept on asking if I wanted to leave the line but I said no and then i went on and it turned out to be my current favourite ride of all time

The parent kid swap for rider swapping back in the day of newness entered in the hallway near the gift shop exit. The auxiliary elevator 🛗 used to give swapping riders a lift to ride the ride. During the year that HtH opened we rode and swapped- - but due to the monsoon style rain 🌧 ☔️ we couldn’t leave. The CM’s allowed us to ride 13 times each until the rain subsided 🛗

its just a plain elevator. less detailed than normal elevators. it takes you to an employee hallway that leads to the room that you view pictures in
