- Introducing the latest creation to come out of Ringbrothers Spring Green, Wisconsin shop - CAPTIV. This 1969 Dodge Charger boasts a 707 Horsepower Hellcat V8 engine supported by Motul engine oil. It is painted in a custom BASF "Pile up Yellow" paint and features a Flowmaster exhast.

The Charger is one of the few cars that looks good no matter what color you paint it. I once saw one painted pink and it STILL looked good.

You guys are my inspiration to build my own 69 charger daily driver. My charger is white with a black R/T stripe and you've convinced me to do black b pillar badges on my car. I'm using the interior of a modern dodge challenger including the dash and center console along with the seats. I'll also be using a pentastar v6 because I want phenomenal gas mileage and not insane power. 305 from the factory is better than a 360 magnum v8 and 5.7 hemi levels of power are very attainable with a turbocharger. But I've seen someone get a 45 to 48 mpg average with said v6 so that's what I'm building it for.

As a kid I had a '68 Charger 73-76 with a 383.
I consider that the best year because of the grille and headlights.
Mine had a TourqueFlite and a Burnt Orange paint job with white vinyl top. not pretty
Took me from OKC to the east coast and back during my first 2 years in the military.
II always thought it was the perfect canvas.
Sold it before I went on the USS Nimitz on a 7 month cruise.

Hope the guys in Chrysler Design Auburn Hills have seen this. Its near perfect except the exhaust outlets in the rear fenders (relocate to the rear) , the billet instrument binnacle and cluster and the shifter needs changing for a Mr.Norms pistol grip .

This is great that you have a channel. I remember seeing one of your mustangs 15 years ago in a show. Not knowing who you were, I was like what is this! It made Eleanor look like a Ford Tempo. Cant remember much other than all black and I.T.B s with 8balls sitting on top.

Ultimate radness what a killer wrestle mod I would always love to do arrest no mod haven't known to 68 SE back in the day and thought man I would love to have another 68 but with a supercharged hellcat motor in it or at least a big 572 hemi crate motor or even the elephant but the sound of that hellcat supercharger just can't beat it I love all the supple touches but yet keeping it simple and most people would walk right by and not even notice like that green charger at the SEMA show but the interior in this one is all you knocked it out of the park with all the amenities and I always wanted my charger to be a daily driver which it was but searching for horsepower you're always tweaking the weakest link in your car is either down or you're either spending more money so get your checkbook ready but wow what an awesome car I know what I would buy or build if I hit the lottery that's for sure, awesome job guys"

No doubt each and every one of us has their likes or tastes in vehicles. Love the body, hate the grill. The first gen Charger's grill is more appealing in my narrow eye. Not taking anything away from the Ring Brothers or their customers. I want to see that grill with this body. Like the 2nd gen 500. When I win the lottery I'll give them a call.
