Marta, I adore what you did with your garage door area! The color of the door is a perfect backdrop for the teak bench in front of it, not to mention all the glorious plants you have in that area. I love your use of black containers and gray baskets - such a pleasing combination. You have such a gift for knowing which plants go well with one another and for staging them. I grow roses and hydrangeas as well as Spring bulbs in containers. It gives me the freedom to move them around and change my garden if something doesn't thrive. I also use extra black pots and paint them with chalk paint to make them look antique. Love your quiet new spot ❤❤
Lovely garden. I love your baskets. I thrifted several this year and have planted them. Found a red bushel basket that I filled with miniature roses. . . So far so good🤞🏽

I absolutely love your porch. I love petunias and have them in my garden every year. They look so beautiful on your front entrance way. Your sitting space is beautiful as well. I love the plants and trees that you have in it. I’ grow everything in pots. We live in the woods so I have to place them in the few sunny spots that I have. Right now I desperately need sunny weather after all the storms and heavy rains.

Marta, polecam Ci patent od Kasia in Garden - jeśli używasz plastikowych doniczek, oddziel ziemię oraz korzenie od boku donicy kartonem, tzn. wyłóż nim nim boki donicy. Gdy go zmoczysz, jest plastyczny i łatwo go wykorzystać. Różnica po zostawianiu kartonu jest BARDZO duża. Ps. Świetny film. Uwielbiam Twój akcent 🥰
Co ma dawać ten karton, w jakim celu go wkładać? Czy mogłabyś proszę podać link do tego filmiku, o którym wspominasz - Kasi?
@@tatidr6922 chodzi o termoizolację. Nie pamiętam, który to był film, bo widziałam go w zeszłym roku. Na pewno chodziło o sadzenie kwiatów w dużych pojemnikach (chyba kastrach).

I use few different Polish fertilizer brands, I like using those made for specific plants with good ratio of NPK.

@@hyokoh6285 they’re layered with plastic as these are planting baskets. You need to make wholes here and there for water to escape. And you put plants as in any other kind of pot 😊🌸🌿🌱
i grow about 225 species loll but this year will be more zinnias.. cosmos.. dhalia for a wedding in september. however i need to get into peonies!
Hi Marta, I tried to overwinter 2 small boxwoods in two different pots, unfortunately both of them didn’t survive cold weather. My gardening zone is 5B. My question is: do you keep your pots outside, during the winter months ? If yes, how do you take care of them ? BTW your garden is stunning and I really like your new area with all the pots by the garage door, looks very charming 💯🌸
Sorry about you boxwoods! I overwinter some of my pots in the greenhouse. Mostly hydrangeas macrophylas and skimmias. Or next to a wall of the house where they are sheltered from frosty winds in winter.

Good evening from Poland zone 6b/ maybe 7a in last few years as we get milder winters nowadays.
i live in montreal canada... i even go shopping in platsburgh usa for plants.... i can never find bubble gum... the day i find it.. i will empty the shelves lollll
