Pretty much to speak english you just need to try speaking it and it'll work out eventually. English is just that basic, learning it properly with books and teachers will just hinder your progress. I mean yeah there's anceint english that is much more rich, but to me it sounds disgusting. Korean and Chinese still sound way worse to me, but shakespearean english and anything before it are pretty bad too. Just for comparison Czech may not sound as melodic as Japanese, but you can express any feeling and describe anything pretty accurately using it, you'd have to properly learn it tho. So yeah I'm hating english for it being way too basic, borderline useless for cultural usage. it probably will stay as the international stadart tho as it fits the role perfectly by being so easy to learn.

I think that combined with her... it's not an accent, her mom doesn't share it, and it doesn't sound like a speech impediment, but whatever you wanna call the affectation on her speach... makes it difficult to understand what she's saying. That said, 90% of the time it's fine.
