Since we're living just a short drive and flight from London AND since we're from Minnesota and fans of the Minnesota Vikings, we decided to go to the Minnesota Vikings vs. the New Orleans Saints game in London!

Dublin is hosting college football on an annual basis .There was a game in august between Northwestern and nebraska. You should checkout hurling and gaelic football( different sport to soccer).The cork county championship finals are on the 16th in Pairc Ui Chaoimh stadium, there should be between 10 000 and 16000 ,i think its a double header with both gaelic football and hurling,but hurling is more popular in cork so the biggest crowd will be for hurling.These sports are very popular here ,Pairc Ui chaoimh holds 45000 and the biggest stadium croke park holds 82300 ,though unfortunately the big games are over since july but the County finals should be good games to go to.
Late to this party but as a brit who was at the game, just wanted to say every fan you sent over for the match was extremely polite, good sported and well behaved. I was with the Vikes so I spent more time around the Vikes fans before/after the game but Minnesotans are sweethearts (which I sort of already knew, my aunts from there).

Tailgate parties are hard to replicate in europe ,because of where stadiums are built and pubs more or less fill the party function anyway
