action figure phill I’m fortunate to have a supportive family who helps me out when they can. My dad and I had a blast even though he was a little under the weather.

Nice footage, really did the old vintage star wars as I grew up in the 80's! It's just the last 17 that I can never justify paying a couple hundred dollars for!

Greg Armstrong yeah those figures and the droids cartoon figures are a pain to find for a good deal.

Ha ha that sounds like a blast but that's also quite the haul for me. I hope to be able to make it out there sometime.

That looks like a fun time, are GI Joes super expensive at the toy shows like they are on ebay?

Cinephile007 it depends on the joe and the vendor but for the most part things tend to be cheaper at a toy show plus you can negotiate.

Great set up! I’m prepping for my first show in March! Have a question, where did you get your white plastic shelving? Also where did you get those wooden display cases? Thanks!

What show are you doing? I got my shelfs from menards and the wooden display cases were custom made. I now have some black display cases I got at hobby lobby. You can check them out in some of my newer videos. I don’t necessarily recommend the black display cases as they are intended to be used as shadow boxes and they aren’t very durable.

@@ohionerd thanks for the info! I’m hosting a toy booth at the toy man toy show in St. Louis Missouri in March.

@@the_konami_kid that’s one of my bucket list shows to go set up at. That is such a historic show.

Art style of the figure? There pics of the character in the movie scene

tom what I am trying to refer to in saying “Art style of the figure” is the sculps of the figures and the distinct look of the vintage line of figures. While the figure sculpts may not be photo real like today they do a great job of capturing the essence in a unique way that is still copied to this day in things like Gentle Giants jumbo line. I do really like the card backs too. Personally I think a movie picture is great way to spark a child's imagination it helps them remember scenes from the movie and the setting the character is from. Keep in mind these toys are from an era before the popularity of home video. As a collector I also appreciate having a unique card art for each character yet a consistent design across the line.

tom what line has the best design in your opinion?
