    OMG found your link from a FB group on IWP. I am a Happy planner girl who has dabbled with IWP in th past and was excited to hear about IWP going disc bound! Right now I am going through all the HP reveal videos trying to figure out which direction I want to go. I think I have it down to the HP MOM life dashboard format and I will throw in the IWP classic inserts plus goal setting inserts (while I like the HP vertical lined format I didn't like any of the styles... cactus, empower woman or life is a party). So excited to see your video, so now I know it will work . I used Jibun tech this past year and while I do love it I miss having 1.5inch width columns and thicker paper that won't break when I use my frixion pens.

      I'm glad you're as excited as I am about how it will all work together! :) Your comment gave me a great idea of what I might be able to use for a catch-all planner for 2019. I'm gonna check out the new HP vertical lined big planners and see if that may work for weekly planning AND memory keeping. Hmmmm....

    Thank you so much for showing the happy planner cross functionality. Exactly what I needed to know!

    I was tempted by the Inkwell Press planner, now I'm really tempted!!

    Isn’t that the great thing about disc bound, that you can mix and match different brands?! Try that with coil bound! 😊

    You can use a Happy Planner colorful cover over the Inkwell Press brown cover.

    Great idea to start immediately!! I’m too overwhelmed during the holidays to think about all this. Disc isn’t going to work for me in PLANNING because my life is so busy that I do it all in the car, usually while driving! I think IWP excels in the productivity arena so the main thing I want is the goals insert anyway. Don’t have to tote that around. Your voice is soothing. I would love to see you switch to ALL inkwell press.

      Yes, the holidays are crazy for me too, so starting now really appeals to me. How do you do your planning in the car? Do you capture notes / events digitally? I agree re IWP and productivity, and that's been a big priority for me so I may very well convert to all inkwell press...but I have streamlined a lot of my process digitally with the new integration with google mail / tasks so I may not even need as much paper as before. I'm glad you enjoy my voice. Sometimes when I'm editing it puts me to sleep, lol.

      @@girlwithtulips5948 So are you totally doing away with the Jibun Techo and the Hobonichi Cousin?

      @@girlwithtulips5948 Also, how do you store loose discbound pages...one of the reasons why I tend to favor bound planners.

      @girlwithtulips5948  Před 5 lety

      I'm not sure! I think I'll always need an hourly vertical weekly set up, and for right now I love the Jibun but if there's a discbound way to do that I may migrate to it for 2019...

    • @girlwithtulips5948

      I leave them stacked and neat like printer paper, just in it's own space in a drawer...OR at this point In have a lot of discs and covers so I can store them that way as well.

    Hi, I love your videos and instagram. I’m curious to know how and what you use your various planners. I see that you have Jibun mini and disc bound. I’m thinking of using both styles. Jibun for planning and disc bound for notes and projects. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thank

      Thank you for your kind words! Perfect timing for your question: I'm making plans to do a Fall 2018 planner line up video soon. But to summarize quickly for you, I use: Jibun as my catch-all planner; the Happy Planner notebook / calendar for work projects and events, a HP horizontal for my memory keeping and now I'll integrate the IWP Goals planner as one separate element. I really like streamlined qualities of the Jibun AND the functionality/customization of the discbound system. But I can foresee that for 2019 I *may* give up the Jibun altogether....haven't completely decided yet. It's so hard to commit! :)

    How do the Inkwell discs compare to the HP discs?

    • @franziskakorthals2295
      @franziskakorthals2295 Před 5 lety +1

      Inkwell discs are solid aluminum and super light weight and sturdy. I prefer them to HP discs but to be honest, I never had an issue with HP discs either. IWP seem more durable and look more classy, I feel.
