When top gear replaced the presenters I got sick of everyone saying bring them back..... But! Tiff! No offence, Tiff is Fifth Gear for me..... His chemistry with Vicki and Jason was brilliant and I always felt like when him and Jason were having "dog fights" they were equal drivers so the cars were getting a fair comparison 🤷🏻♂️ just my 2 cents.

I have driven one and i'll only say I was blown away by it's 2.0 diesel engine beacuse it doesn't fell like a diesel engine at all.And it has a lot of performance 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

That m performance pack is just essence
I own a f30 320d sportline and I can promise you this car has humbled many a performance car, every body hates on diesel but they don't realise the amount of torque it produces off the line as its compression no spark plugs. Take my word on it. Excellent road handling, power on demand specially in sport and sport plus modes.The only cars thats ever humbled mine was 2 so far, ie The ford focus st and the Golf 7 R. Thus trust me, most of the sport performance sedans doesn't hold a candle to these bad boys. However, want more power, just get the 330 with 2 cylinders more.

Wow yeah, some director bloke really upped the game sacking current historic racing driver Mr legend crazy man Tiff Needell from the show he actually founded. And now this show is really upmarket and dull. I am being harsh here because of utterly moronic but safe and at first glance profitable decisions. New era brilliantly sporty rear bias clutch derived AWD. Yes plato was sticking it ang gripping it but where are tortured tires and on and over the limit driving? Tell me one time when Tiff managed to be boring or not entertaining. This guy is an utter madman, a speed freak and one of the best road car auto testers in the world according to F1 drivers. constantly sawing behind the wheel balancing every single vehicle on the limits of its grip with its unique driving style is what made him famous back in the days of single seating racing cars where he became so good at what he did that he deliberately started to drift the vehicles that already acquired constant chassis balancing on throttle so that there was more to enjoy from our perspective. I find it interesting that no car publications (that I know of) have reviewed a non-M spec 3 Series.
Thats most likely a mixture of BMWs press fleet probably being almost entirely made up of Ms, publications wanting the nicest looking one to make their pics look good and most of the time when you walk into a BMW dealer you can get at least the M look option for almost nothing since they want the cars on the road to attract as much attention as possible.
It would be nice to find out what the best seller was in the last model and get that on here. Of course that may well be the 320d anyway.

Comparing a top spec (before the M model), to a base diesel meant for efficienct? Of course your 330i will be better... This thing is built for efficienct, not necessarily for enthusiasts. Don't think this is even available here in the States

Looks good in that colour with the m performance kit but £40000 is a lot to pay for a 320 dmsport. In 340 form it would be better, but for that money I would buy a vxr8 Bathurst s. Beautiful car. 560 bhp with a manual gearbox.👍

BMW haven't been the ultimate driving machine for years. Crap steering feel, horrible manual gearboxes, fake engine sounds, etc. None of that screams drivers car.

better name of channel will be sixth gear because manuals are sixth most and automatic can go up to ten but fifth are now most for only older cars and those with no more then 100-115hp

I had one as a courtesy car from BMW for a few days, it rides really well. It's genuinely quick, Its really all the car you'd ever need.

Jag Chatha just a rude arrogant clan. I asked what car do you own tiff “I’ve got a 335i”, my reply “oh rite my uncles just brought a 335d” to which he simply turned his nose up and looked the other way. Gave that impression of what a shit car.
