God is so awesome that He orchestrates wonderful things in our lives when we don't even realize what's happening. 31yrs ago it has been & as so much time has passed on, it still seems like it was only yesterday when Revivalist Mel & I set out to relocate & live in Alaska during tour/duty station
by the United States Navy to NAS Adak, Alaska. Honestly, people were praying for us but can't
hardly remember if we were praying ourselves. We weren't sure we wanted to do this but because
we agreed & obeyed God anyway to take the orders & to move our family there we received many
blessings. We'll never forget the: good times, bad times, hardships that we endured on the Island.
During the 3-4 years on Adak Island, God revealed himself to us in so many ways & through many people, places & things while there. It was when we began attending the church services at Bering
Hill Chapel that we met the church family, joined the choir there & blended into our newly found family. There are many things in our hearts to share & one thing that stands out is how God moved
on us & others we ministered to as we sang praise songs unto Him every Sunday at church.
We sang from place to place by invite on the Island & we never went under a certain name except that we were members of the Bering Hill Chapel church family. We faithfully attended choir practice
weekly preparing for the Sunday, Wednesday & Friday pm services. One evening appeared a man named Bro Rodney & he'd asked could he share something that God had given him to all of us... We
were anxious to hear what he had to say. He stood before us & shared that God had impressed
upon him a name for the choir, "THE VOICES OF JUDAH". A long story made short; this is how we became the name. So excited to share this w/yas, that our heart skip beats as we endeavor to bless
yas w/the presentation of this video clip: "NAS ADAK AK VOICES OF JUDAH IN CONCERT 1993".
After yrs of planning, procrastinating, waiting & wondering how we'll record from vcr tapes - dvds
in order to present them, we're humbly thankful to God that it's done.
We're also thankful to God for CZcams & for you stopping in. Please join w/us & rejoice as we
joyfully sing in the awesome presence of the Holy Spirit.
